Hello! My name is Benson, and I’m a patient, supportive, and step-by-step tutor who helps students build confidence in English writing, reading comprehension, and beginner Mandarin Chinese. I believe that every student can learn with the right guidance, and I focus on breaking down difficult concepts into clear, simple steps that make learning feel manageable and enjoyable.

My teaching style is friendly and structured. I use examples, modeling, guided practice, and lots of encouragement. Students often tell me that I explain things in a way that finally “clicks,” especially when it comes to writing essays, understanding reading passages, or learning Mandarin pronunciation (pinyin and tones).
