I engaged Matias to teach me the basic steps of tango on my 70th birthday in Paris. I am not a dancer or physically fit but am musical and move well to rhythms. I asked Matias to hire a dance space near to my hotel, which he did. He also met me at my hotel to accompany me so I found it. Matias provided both recorded and live tango music by playing his bandoneon, which was a wonderful treat to hear while I had a rest. My cousin recorded our dancing. Matias explained very well and demonstrated steps to help me. He showed patience and we made excellent progress which left me feeling very proud of myself. My aim was fully achieved and I have a lovely memory and recording.
