Hi everyone! I am Myrthe, a Dutch national living around the world. I love language learning and five years ago I discovered that I also love teaching languages. I am advanced in English and Dutch, fluent in Chinese and German, conversational in Spanish and am currently picking up Arabic.

I have three years’ experience as a Dutch teacher in Taiwan and four years’ experience tutoring kids aged between 3-14, both in Dutch and English. I have taught various subjects such as language, reading, writing, public speaking, science and more.

My teaching methods depend on your learning style. I am open to following your curriculum or can provide you with one based on your needs. My classes are focused on YOU and are 100% personalized to your desire.

For (younger) children I am a big fan of learning through play and music. I believe that using something within a child's specific interest is an easy way to pick up a new language.

I am also comfortable working with a textbook/method.
In case you decide to work with a specific textbook or method, I can arrange it for you, or you can provide one for me to teach from.

Daarom is het ontzettend belangrijk en misschien zelfs noodzakelijk om de taal onder de knie te krijgen. Bovendien kan het erg handig zijn om Engels te kennen bij het zoeken naar een baan, het solliciteren naar een cursus of opleiding, of het starten van een bedrijf. Het kunnen begrijpen en spreken van Engels wordt vaak gezien als een pro, zo niet een vereiste.

Tijdens deze cursus kan ik je helpen je voor te bereiden op je Engelse test. We kunnen samen oefenen. In deze cursus kun je verwachten dat je een aantal dingen leert en oefent:
- leesstrategieën die u helpen antwoorden in een tekst te vinden
