Ik heb een rijke ervaring met het lesgeven van Engels als tweede taal aan verschillende leeftijdsgroepen. Ik heb ruim twee jaar als leraar Engels in São Paulo gewerkt, waar ik les gaf aan beginners tot gevorderden (alle leeftijden).

Ik heb twee en een half jaar in Dublin gewoond en gedurende die tijd heb ik een aantal cursussen Engels gevolgd om mijn Engels te verbeteren.
Ik heb een bachelordiploma in Arts - European Studies, waarin ik ook enkele Engelse en Spaanse lessen heb gevolgd, en ik ben momenteel bezig met mijn masterdiploma in Latijns-Amerikaanse Studies.

Als onderdeel van mijn vrijwilligerswerk geef ik ook Engelse les aan studenten uit kwetsbare gemeenschappen in Brazilië (online lessen).

I am originally from Brazil (Diadema, SP) and currently I live the Hague, Netherlands. I have a rich experience teaching English as a second language to different age groups. I lived in Dublin for two and half years and during this time I took some English courses to sharpen my English.
I graduated in European Studies in June 2021 (in which I also had some English and Spanish lessons), and currently I am doing my masters in Latin America Studies.
As part of my voluntary job, I also teach English to students from vulnerable communities in Brazil.

We watch or read materials, such as videos, articles, stories, poems, caricatures, then discuss them; we act out situations from everyday life; we take positions and practice debates. Ma méthodologie : Apprendre à structurer sa pensée pour mieux s'exprimer
Mon approche repose sur un constat simple : on ne réussit pas par manque de travail, mais souvent par manque de méthode et de confiance. Mon rôle est de transformer des matières parfois perçues comme abstraites (Philo, Français) ou intimidantes (Anglais) en outils concrets de réussite.

Le déroulement type d'une séance :
1.Diagnostic rapide : On commence par identifier les zones d'ombre du cours précédent ou les difficultés sur un exercice précis.
2.Passage à l'action : Pas de cours magistral assommant ! On travaille sur des exercices concrets, des plans de dissertation ou de la pratique orale (en anglais) pour "apprendre en faisant".
3.La "Méthode Montréal" : Ayant travaillé 2 ans et demi au Québec, j'utilise une pédagogie nord-américaine très axée sur l'encouragement, la structure claire et l'autonomie de l'élève.
4.Bilan & Objectifs : On termine chaque séance par un récapitulatif des points clés pour que l'élève sache exactement quoi réviser.

Ce qui fait la différence : En tant qu'étudiante en philosophie, je n'enseigne pas seulement des auteurs, j'enseigne la méthodologie qui permet de réfléchir par soi-même les grands concepts philosophiques. En anglais, ma double nationalité me permet de corriger les tics de langage et l'accent de manière naturelle. En français, j'ai eu la chance préparer des dizaines d'élèves pour leur Bac, avec une approche ciblée.
