As a teacher, I believe in guiding students along the path they've chosen for themselves. My lessons are student-centered, focusing on their unique strengths and interests. I always aim to create an environment where we learn together, rather than me simply talking at them. Humor plays a big role in my teaching—I enjoy using jokes and lighthearted moments to make learning more enjoyable. For me, it's about connecting with my students, not just instructing them.

Education

Throughout my educational journey, I've continually expanded my knowledge and skills in both teaching and economics. Currently, I'm pursuing a Masters in Educational Needs, with a focus on behavior and autism. This builds on my foundation in online teaching methods, tools, and platforms, such as LMS and Microsoft Teams, gained in recent years. My background includes a degree teaching qualification in Economics, as well as hands-on experience in project management through the Inter-American Development Bank. With a bachelor's in International Financial Management from Amsterdam, I blend a strong financial background with a passion for education and student development.

With over 10 years of diverse experience in teaching, mentoring, and management, I bring a unique blend of skills to tutoring. I’ve taught a wide range of subjects including economics, administration, digital design, and more, working with students from special education to higher education. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

We practice together on language in use, grammar and vocabulary, gap texts, structuring exercises, dictation, presentations and argumentation.

While adults debate finances at home, kids are already using money, without actually understanding how.

In this course, we learn by playing. And by thinking.
We'll explore together:

I am a mathematics teacher and I offer additional hours for private tutoring in scientific disciplines. These courses are primarily aimed at middle and high school students in Geneva, whether they attend private or public schools, as well as adults who have passed this level but wish to refresh their knowledge for professional purposes.
Generally, I can begin tutoring within three days of your request. I travel throughout the canton of Geneva using the TPG public transport system, and travel expenses are included in my rates. For long-term support, I can also provide exercises to complete between sessions, which I will correct at home. I am fluent in English for English-speaking students. I am available after my regular teaching hours and also during school holidays and breaks.

Ce cours d’économétrie est conçu pour permettre aux étudiants, chercheurs et professionnels de comprendre comment analyser des données économiques et sociales à l’aide de modèles statistiques rigoureux.

L’objectif est de vous apprendre à transformer des données brutes en informations utiles pour la prise de décision, la recherche académique et l’analyse économique. Le cours combine théorie, intuition économique et applications pratiques.

À travers ce cours, vous apprendrez notamment à comprendre la structure des données, à modéliser des relations entre variables, à interpréter correctement les résultats de régressions et à éviter les erreurs courantes d’analyse.
