I aim my lesson at Dutch speakers who want to learn French, who have difficulties with it at school, or who simply want to refine their conversation skills. French is my native language, and I have studied Latin and Greek, which gave me a deeper understanding of French grammar and language.

I specialise in tutoring English for European Union professional exams (e.g., AST - AD promotion exams and 'retour' interpretation exams), for other exams (SAT, GMAT, GRE, FCE, CAE, CPE, IELTS. TOEFL), for thesis submission, and for other professional work, particularly English for auditors, legal, financial and ambassadorial advisors, business people, project managers, salespeople, physicians, scientists, and academic students. All courses are individually tailored to the student's needs and students are invited to supply their own materials from work. Courses usually focus on passing an exam or on achieving a sense being able to work comfortably in English with native or non-native English speakers.

As you acquire a new skill or enhance the proficiency of a new language skill, you will be guided in grammar, vocabulary, conversations, dictions and oral articulations to aide you in communicating better with other English speakers worldwide...conversational dates, outdoor excursions & day-day routine exercise can be requested. As a linguist, I never judge a speaker no matter how good or bad they are. I have every needed skill to help you to make your speaking closer to the standard French spoken in Belgium or France. I continually adapt the teaching (phonetics, grammar, syntax, etc...) to the needs of the students. According to your needs, we can work on speaking, writing, or both.

FLE teacher graduated from the Alliance française Bruxelles-Europe. I taught in Laos (1 year in a local school) in Peru (1 year in a college and in a French alliance), in Moscow (2 years in a private language school), in Brussels (6 month in an association that delivers courses to newcomers and the F9 for private and group lessons at the ULB). The type of teaching that I favor is based on active pedagogy, constant interaction of the learner with his teacher and his environment, a cultural exchange and a clear and precise understanding of the objectives to be achieved. To apply this practice I use a lot: authentic documents (radio and TV programs, articles, reports, songs, testimonials, ...), the role play (theatrical exercises), games are a founding element of my teaching (playful and recreational approach of the language), the debates (the experience and the personal history being the raw material to animate them), reading (books and comics: phonetics), the grammatical exercises in adequacy with the theme ( didactics of FLE and grammatical methodology)

My name is Max and I offer courses in work methods and study assistance to students who have trouble finding a way of working that suits them. I do most of my tutoring in a hotel, where I can provide coffee, water or hot chocolate. After high school in the Latin option in Halle, I completed a double bilingual baccalaureate (Fr.-Eng.) ) at the Saint-Louis University, then a Master in Law at UCL (completed June 2018).
