Über mich

Violoniste et chef d'orchestre vénézuélien, attiré par l'interprétation et l'enseignement de l'art musical. Il a commencé ses études musicales dans le célèbre programme éducatif "El Sistema" créé par l'éducateur et activiste José Antonio Abreu, où la pratique musicale à travers des orchestres symphoniques et des chorales sert d'instrument de développement humain. Ce projet lui a donné l'occasion d'étudier et de travailler avec des musiciens comme Gustavo Dudamel, Sung Kwak, Simon Rattle, Eduardo Marturet. En 2008, Elvis a été le premier lauréat du concours de musique de chambre "La patrie de Tchaïkovski" dans la ville de Votkinsk-Russie.
Son intérêt pour la direction d'orchestre lui permet de se produire sur les principales scènes de son pays, travaillant avec l'Orchestre Philharmonique National du Venezuela, l'Orchestre Symphonique d'Aragua, entre autres. Au cours de la saison 2014-2015, il a été assistant à la direction musicale du théâtre Teresa Carreño, s'immergeant dans le monde de l'opéra et du ballet, participant à des productions telles que Tosca, Madame Butterfly, Casse-Noisette. En 2016, Elvis s'est installé à Istanbul-Turquie pour travailler comme professeur de cordes à la fondation Barış İçin Müzik. Il a participé à des festivals internationaux tels que le Festival de Musique de Chambre "Trame Sonore" de Mantoue, le Festival de Musique d'Istanbul, le Festival de Musique du Schleswig-Holstein. Depuis 2018, il réside en Belgique, il a étudié le violon à l'École Supérieure des Arts ARTS², sous la direction des violonistes Anton Martynov et Eliot Lawson. Il a eu l'opportunité de travailler avec différents artistes du milieu musical européen tels que Jean Luc Fafchamps, Kristof Barati, Philippe Herreweghe, entre autres.
Actuellement, Elvis développe sa carrière de professeur et de violoniste dans différentes académies et écoles de musique en Belgique.

One-to-one music lessons inspired by the teachings of Suzuki, Havas, Hoppenot, and Galway.

The lessons are adjusted according to age, level, and interests. The most important is that the student will learn in an enjoyable way for them.

It is only possible to take 45 min. lessons when the student receives more than one lesson a week -which is highly recommended for anyone that might want to become a professional musician. Lessons longer than an hour are also possible for anyone over 14 years old.

I'm now doing my master's degree in both violin and viola. I study in Germany and Belgium at the same time. I can now speak German very fluently, but I'm still on the way to being able to speak French. :)

Here is some information about me:

I obtained my master's degree at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts as a solo violinist, as well as in chamber music.
Since 2018 I have held a position in the 2nd Violin Group of the Belgian National Orchestra in Brussels.
As an enthusiastic chamber music player, I play regularly and give concerts with different ensembles in Belgium as the Brussels String Quartet.
Teaching and sharing with you all my music knowledge has a very important role in my life.
My research on how to deal with stress on stage is another topic that I find essential and very helpful for everyone who has some issues and wants to improve in that way.

Hello,

I give music or musical awareness lessons for children aged 4 to 13. I will teach beginners to sing and very young children to learn about music. I am a student, 22 years old, at the conservatory and I have been into music since a very young age. I have quite a bit of experience with children, I taught as a volunteer in a primary school in Peru and I did a lot of babysitting here in Brussels.

Whether you want to play just for fun or to become a professional pianist I can give you a personalised course. At the beginning of the course, I will evaluate your level and give you recommendations of what we can work on. There are two main types of courses:

- a hobbyist course: it won’t be time consuming. I will help you learn new pieces and a little theory and solfege. The primary goal of this course is to make you enjoy playing in your spare time without having to practice too much.

- a professional course: in this course I will help you reach the level of a professional musician. I will give you an insight of how to prepare a piece or pieces for a competition or an audition. I will also teach a lot of theory and solfege so that you can prepare for a conservatory or a school of music.

Starting from the fact that an Epic Intro of each song can determine the success of your artistic compositions, it is important to say that musical composition is a key tool to create and develop songs and concerts, through ensemble rhythms and their Syncopations you will learn to compose Epic Intros with the Afro-Cuban and Latin flavor. We will use percussion and choir instruments, body percussion and ideophone accessories (bells, Hierros, Kilin, etc.) from Drums BEAT I will teach you the Afro-Beat rhythmic marches that will give musical richness to your projects .

Singing lessons
Discover your own voice as I support you developing your personal sound and the technique needed. We will be doing vocal warm ups, improvisation and sing the songs of your preference.

Violin lessons
Noticing that a lot of violin players are unable to play music without scores I tend to work using more the ears instead of scores. Besides learning songs and improvisation in the musical genre that the student prefers, I also emphasize on technique and posture.

Every person is unique and needs a particular and personal approach!
