I am an enthusiastic teacher who has taught general and business English, and English for academic purposes. Having experience with both teenagers and adults, I specialize in tutoring English based on four skills: Listening, Reading, Speaking and Writing.
I plan my lessons regarding the student's needs and goals. In my lessons, I prefer using different teaching coursebooks and authentic resources (e.g. online articles, newspapers, magazines).
Since I have studied in different disciplines such as language teaching, literature and communication sciences, I could promise various lesson contents in each lesson to keep you excited during your learning process.

Being experienced as an English and Turkish instructor for 12 years, I have worked for a language school and universities and taught both teenagers and adults in groups or one-on-one. I am passionate about teaching English and Turkish by using cutting edge language teaching methods. I have also deep know-how on educational technologies. Having not only a diploma on English language teaching but also a Cambridge certificate (CELTA), I have taught English both international and Turkish students. Hello! Since 2023, I have been continuing my Dutch lessons with pleasure with students who live or want to live in the Netherlands and want to prepare for the citizenship exam (Inburgeringsexamen).
As an educator who completed the citizenship exams a long time ago, with my 12 years of foreign language teaching experience, I help you with language learning and exam preparation, while also guiding you by sharing tips for the exam.
While I plan my lessons in line with the needs of the student, I include listening, reading, speaking and writing skills in the lesson plan in accordance with the exam format. I also support you in the fifth step of the exam, KNM (Kennis Nederlandse Maatschappij - Dutch Social Knowledge). You can request lessons that cover all parts of the exam or specific language skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing).
