Hi! I’m Djewel, a 25-year-old native French speaker with a background in literature, publishing, and marketing. I hold a Master’s in Book Publishing and a Bachelor's in Literature.

I’ve had the chance to teach both teenagers and university students, helping them improve their writing, grammar, and confidence. I also offer French as a foreign language (FLE) lessons to beginners and non-native speakers.

I believe in making learning both structured and fun. Whether you're just starting or want to go deeper into French literature, I adapt my teaching to your level and goals. I'm currently based in Amsterdam, working as a Marketing Manager in an international environment and I’m always excited to share my passion for the French language!

Italian is a fascinating and sweet language. Would you like to learn it or to improve your prior knowledge about it? I offer you the chance to do it in a friendly and relaxed way, using some of the best professional teaching methods. I'm a 33 years old Italian teacher, triggered by the desire of travelling the world. I dedicated my academic career to the study of foreign languages. What are you waiting for? Ciao, e a presto.

I specialise in English (British & American) tuition for native and non-native speakers of all ages, and have experience working with:
• young children learning English for the first time
• primary- and secondary-school students studying the English language and its literatures
• adult professionals and seniors wishing to improve their language skills, or develop pronunciation or presentational skills

I have two degrees in English language and literature (B.A. and Mst) from the University of Oxford, and I am also a graduate of the International Baccalaureate (I.B.) Diploma program. I've developed a creative approach in my sessions with students that involves applying a student's particular talents and interests (regardless of subject) in the process of language acquisition, along with the simultaneous development of critical skills like close and careful reading, argumentation, written style, and effective communication.

I am versed in the requirements and intricacies of a range of national and international diploma programs. When working with students supplementing an academic syllabus, my goal is always to position them to succeed in the assignments and assessments laid out by a primary instructor.

After a turbulent career in the media, marketing and mental health care, I am now back to my roots in education.
I am very knowledgeable and was an academic success, but I don't just work with HBO or WO students. I also teach classes in primary education, VMBO, MBO, HAVO and VWO. Below you will find an overview of which subjects I teach and at what level. :

As a therapist I know how to deal with learning or other problems of any kind. So I deliver custom work, for children as well as young people and adults

What does a lesson from me look like? Well, that is always a surprise and never boring! My starting point is coaching, so I always work on a good relationship and developing or strengthening confidence in my own capacities, or Empowerment. Everything else comes after that. A lesson of mine is otherwise varied, with relatively short, but very intensive learning moments, and in between small breaks with some distraction.

This could be a conversation about something else, or a joke, or an anecdote, so that you get the best out of your concentration and the material remains manageable. I also often work with music, or poems, or paintings that are related to the subject matter, then it sticks better and it is just great fun. I am very inventive and original, so with me you are drawn into an adventure every lesson!

Hello everyone! I hold a doctorate in Italian, have been teaching Italian for 5 years and hold a CELTA teaching qualification. I've been preparing students for the A-Levels and GCSE (language + literature). I can prepare you for specific examinations, language lessons in general or teach you Italian for business. The lessons are for everyone, whatever their age or level (children to adults). I will make sure that you discover the Italian culture through the lessons, learn the correct pronunciation and of course learn some grammar. I am open to your needs and can speak a few languages to make sure you understand fully the lessons (of course, we’ll try to use mostly Italian in all our lessons depending on your level).

These classes aim at people who want to develop their Portugueses skills, both from scratch with some previous knowledge. The pedagogical structure is adaptable to the situation; school-aged children with Portuguese parent(s) who don't always have the time and opportunity to teach them, adults who need practical advice and relatively quick skill training because of a Portuguese-speaking partner, friend, traveling, etc...
Students are always encouraged to develop their interest in the Portuguese language.
