My guiding principle for teaching foreign languages is
With communication and culture as the cornerstone for language learning, the goal is for all students to learn how, when, and why to say what to whom.

It works at every level, because I tailor to the needs of my students. I love teaching teens because they love talking and are eager to learn. I think teens are fun and I find their creativity inspiring.

We will learn with videos, games, songs and activities Every once in a while I give kids projects because projects demonstrate the knowledge that the kid has gained.

I have a Needs Analysis form for us to define your individual goals and objectives, we can speak about how you has been exposed to the language and I will make notes and be in contact with you so that you know the plan. The plan can change depending on your needs and how fast you learn, I am very adaptable

I used to work overseas at an International school but I am looking at the possibility of travelling more and writing a book. And the online job allows me to have more flexibility.

My name is Denise I’m a Mexican Spanish as Foreign Language tutor (ELE Español Lengua Extranjera as acronym) certified by "Escuela Internacional Cervantes" with a Bachelor in Spanish Literature by the University of Nuevo León Mexico (UANL).

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.

I was born and have lived in the United States my entire life (28 years). I lived in the rural Midwestern state of Wisconsin until age 13. I come from a bilingual home, and my parents speak with an accent—but my American English accent is clear, standard, and natural.
