I'm a 30 year old English girl, have lived in Spain and Australia but moved back to UK because of Brexit. I have a degree in Law and speak intermediate level German (but studying to improve). I love cooking, reading, traveling and meeting new people. I want to tutor English to help share my language and culture and get some experience in teaching.

I will do in person sessions when I frequently travel to Spain, otherwise can do online/Skype or over the phone at the students convenience :-)

me llamo Nereida y tengo el grado en Español: lengua y literaturas de la Universidad de Alicante. Asimismo, he hecho los másteres de Estudios Literarios y Formación del Profesorado en esa misma universidad y tengo un B2 de inglés y un C1 de valenciano. Llevo varios años impartiendo clases de Lengua y literatura castellana y de Español para extranjeros, por lo que gozo de cierta experiencia en ambos sectores.

En cuanto a la asignatura de Lengua y literatura castellana, puedo enseñar a cualquier nivel de la etapa educativa: desde niños hasta a adultos. Suelo dar clases de repaso de la E.S.O. y Bachillerato, pero también he preparado para Selectividad, para la universidad y para otros exámenes oficiales.

En lo referente a la asignatura de Español para extranjeros, he tenido estudiantes tanto adultos como niños, por lo que puedo adaptarme a las necesidades de los alumnos. Además, puedo preparar para exámenes oficiales, para mejorar el nivel, para mejorar la comunicación, para mejorar el vocabulario de un ámbito específico... En cualquier caso, al igual que en mis clases de Lengua y literatura, intento hacerlas participativas, de manera que el estudiante se convierta en el centro del aprendizaje. Asimismo, utilizo numerosos ejemplos y distintas anécdotas como refuerzo, cosa que suele ser bastante útil a la hora de memorizar.

Clases de Lengua Castellana y Literatura para todos los niveles, especialmente en ESO y bachillerato. Soy licenciado en Periodismo y poseo el máster del profesorado de secundaria en ESO, FP y bachillerato en la materia marcada.

I teach foreigners of any nationality who need to improve their skills in any of the Spanish skills. In my classes I always try to follow a communicative methodology, in order to practice, especially communication. However, the starting point of my classes is always the needs of the students, since I adapt to their characteristics, needs and preferences. What I intend is for the student to be the main protagonist of the learning and that, from there, the class develops.

During classes I usually vary the activities, exercises, dynamics and proposals, since I do not follow a fixed dynamic. This varies depending on the needs of the students, what they ask for, what they need and what they intend to work on and/or learn.

I have experience in the world of teaching Spanish as a second language. I have been teaching classes since 2019 to different profiles and nationalities, both large groups and small groups and even private classes to have a more personal contact with the student.
