I am Francesca, a passionate harpist and music educator. I have recently completed my first year of a master’s degree at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. In addition to my advanced studies, I have a deep commitment to sharing my love for music with others, particularly children and young adults. My greatest strengths lie in my ability to connect with people, quickly identify their difficulties, and tailor my teaching methods to meet their individual needs.
Education
I have a solid educational foundation in music, having earned my bachelor's degree in Italy. I studied the harp through the Suzuki method, a pedagogical approach that has profoundly influenced my teaching style. This method not only helped me master the harp but also equipped me with the skills to understand and address the challenges faced by my students. My current pursuit of a master's degree at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague continues to enhance my technical skills and pedagogical expertise.
Expérience / Qualifications
I bring a diverse range of teaching experiences to my work. In Italy, I taught music theory and harp at both elementary and middle schools. I also led a summer camp for children from underprivileged backgrounds, an experience that honed my ability to engage and inspire students from various walks of life. I am particularly interested in teaching the harp to children but am equally excited about working with teenagers and adults who are fascinated by this beautiful instrument.

In addition to my teaching experience, I have performed extensively as a soloist and in orchestras, including the prestigious Residentie Orkest. These performances have enriched my understanding of music and strengthened my abilities as a musician, which I bring to my teaching practice.

One of my proudest achievements is my bachelor’s degree from Italy, but I am also very proud of the opportunity to perform with the Residentie Orkest despite not yet having completed my master’s degree. This experience has been invaluable in preparing me for a professional career in music.

My students can play whatever music they want, from classical pieces, to jazz themes, all the way to modern tic-toc songs, I always let them play what they want.
