This class is designed to teach you the path to becoming a master artist or to study art history through active study so you know what it feels like to work in the styles of different artists. In this class we will figure out what art you love and what you want to learn to do. Then I will teach you the process of artist studies, sketchbook research and practices, and we will build you a portfolio of works along the way.

This class is best for students who wish to study art or do creative work in an English speaking environment. We will analyse art by others and art you in an all-English art critique. I speak French and some German, so you won't get lost but mostly the course will be in English. We will also learn to write about art academically. Whether you want to work for Pixar, become an architect or teach art in an English speaking environment, this is the creative English as a Foreign Language class you have been looking for!
