I finished my bachelor studies in Lisbon, at the National Orchestra Academy (Orquestra Metropolitana), master in modern cello in Antwerp, at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp and master in baroque cello in the Early Music Department of the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. Solid experience in orchestral playing as well as in chamber music, where I collaborate with several orchestras and ensembles, and have my own ensemble as well (Ayres Extemporae). Working as a freelancer, so availabilities may vary some weeks! My classes are adapted to the goals, personalities and levels of each student – it’s exactly this kind of adaptability possible in private teaching that I'm passionate about. I approach all the technical elements of cello playing, always in close relation with the musical side (and the pleasure of playing!), which allows a continuous, complete and stimulating global development, in a caring and respectful atmosphere.
