A mature and serious postgraduate with international experience and vast repertoire of skills to impart to young learners and future academics, I seek to significantly improve confidence, performance and achievement. In my approach I study the challenges with the client and together set out a plan with a guiding timeline to reach goals and targets. I work to harness the student ability to digest complex and technical information to succeed in their academic career. The ability to focus, work to competing deadlines are habits that can be nurtured. Trust and rapport are the foundation to good learning atmosphere. Having worked in student services, course administration and tutored/mentored at University, I have become well rounded in the field of education. Coming from an ethnic background I understand cultural sensitivity and tact when dealing with sensitive matters and for most young students I easily build a rapport to gain their trust and respect. During my work experience I have acquired excellent time management skills, as well as interpersonal, relationship building and communication skills (written and oral), not to mention a keen eye for detail.
