I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory.

I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time!

I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing.

My lessons include warmups, technique, working on pieces of various repertoire, playing in duo with me, and more. For music theory, I like to come up with playful exercises of my own according to the student's needs and level.

Ik begon piano te spelen toen ik 8 jaar oud was. Tegen die tijd kon ik al voelen dat ik een professionele muzikant en leraar zou worden. Ik kreeg mijn eerste bachelor in piano in 2007. Toen ik 13 jaar oud was, begon ik klavecimbellessen te krijgen en breidde ik mijn kennis van klassieke en oude muziek uit. In 2012 behaalde ik mijn bachelordiploma in klavecimbel en in 2014 mijn masteropleiding aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag. Momenteel werk ik met mijn ensemble, doceer ik piano en klavecimbel en ben nu bezig met mijn Ph.D. in Performative Arts aan de Universiteit van Leiden

Ik hou absoluut van lesgeven en mijn ervaring als muzikant doorgeven aan mijn studenten op beide instrumenten. Ik zie ze graag verbeteren en heb plezier tijdens het spelen.
Ik werk met verschillende manieren van lesgeven, afhankelijk van het niveau van de student en de achtergrond van de muziek.

Normaal gesproken werk ik met piano-methoden met kinderen van 9 tot 12 jaar oud. Ik kan muziektheorie leren als dat nodig is en als het de behoefte van de student om vooruitgang te boeken verbetert en zijn doelen bereikt, doe ik dat met plezier. Harmonie en een beetje toetsenbordimprovisatie zijn ook van harte welkom in de klas.

Mijn specialiteit is klassieke muziek, meer specifiek barokmuziek, hoewel ik begrippen als pop, jazz en improvisatie heb. Omdat ik een achtergrond in sport en personal training heb, ben ik ook gespecialiseerd in het corrigeren van houdingen en het voorkomen of oplossen van pijnproblemen bij het spelen.

Do you want to have fun learning how to play the most beautiful instrument in the world or improve your skills with it? I'd be delighted to do it with you! I'm a classical clarinetist, I have two masters (recently graduated at Codarts) and different experience in orchestra, chamber music and teaching! My goal as a teacher is to stimulate the student to study in order to be at the disposal of music and not a passive player as can happen many times when you undertake a new study. That is why I like to play with my students and organize little private concerts and try-out.
Concerning the music theory lessons, I am not going to bore you with long and incomprehensible explanations! We will study it in a fun and effective way! I've been studying music since I'm five years old and I started with the Kodaly method that made me approach music in a very natural way! I hope to see you soon!

Mijn naam is Carla Peña en ik kom uit Barcelona. Van kinds af aan speelt muziek een belangrijke rol in mijn leven. Ik begon muziek te leren toen ik 4 jaar oud was en cello toen ik 6 jaar oud was. Ik ontdekte mijn liefde voor muziek en dat deel ik met mijn studenten.
Ik heb ongeveer 15 leerlingen van alle niveaus en leeftijden en geef les in mijn eigen studio (De Constant Rebecquestraat 3) of bij jou thuis!
Ben je in de regio Den Haag en wil je cello leren of je spel verbeteren, dan ben je van harte welkom om lessen bij mij te volgen!

EERSTE LES:
De eerste les bestaat uit het elkaar leren kennen. Dit is essentieel om de beste onderwijsaanpak te kiezen. Alle studenten zijn uniek, daarom kies ik altijd de methode die het beste aansluit bij jouw behoeften. Daarna werken we een persoonlijk plan uit, afhankelijk van je niveau, verwachtingen, oefentijd en smaak.

TECHNIEK:
Het leren van de juiste techniek van het instrument is erg belangrijk om blessures te voorkomen en om onszelf te kunnen uiten en onze muzikale ideeën op een succesvolle manier uit te voeren. Daarom leren we leuke liedjes in verschillende stijlen, afhankelijk van je smaak (van klassiek tot jazz, filmmuziek, pop, etc.) en combineren we het met cellomethodeboeken met progressieve oefeningen om de cellokennis te verbeteren.
In het geval van jonge beginners spelen we tijdens de les ook cellospellen om de leerervaring dynamisch en leuk te maken! Kinderen kunnen de aandacht verliezen en snel verveeld raken!

Samen spelen is een essentieel onderdeel van het genieten van muziek. Daarom bestaat het laatste deel van de les altijd uit het spelen van celloduetten en plezier maken!

OVER MIJ:

Ik studeerde mijn Bachelor in Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona, bij professor Amparo Lacruz. Toen besloot ik mijn studie voort te zetten aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Den Haag in de klas van Michel Strauss en Jan-Ype Nota.
Tijdens mijn studie in Den Haag heb ik als onderdeel van hun Minor Muziekeducatie een onderwijsstage gelopen aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium. Ik heb ook lesgegeven aan verschillende muziekscholen tijdens mijn studie in Spanje.
Momenteel geef ik les aan particuliere studenten in Den Haag en heb ik een cultureel centrum in Den Haag opgericht, Pandora Studio genaamd.
Ik speel regelmatig in twee kamermuziekensembles: Trio Jakob en Azalaïs Quartet.

Hallo, ik ben Sacha! Ik ben een vioolleraar uit Tenerife (Canarische Eilanden, Spanje).

Momenteel ben ik viooldocent bij Strijkdomein, Gelderlanschool, Vuurvlinder en Het Klooster (Woerden). Ik werk ook als studie-coach bij Jong Talent in Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag.

Ik heb mijn Bachelor of Music als violist behaald aan de Alfonso X El Sabio Universiteit (Madrid). Later heb ik de opleiding tot violist en docent voortgezet in Bloomington (Indiana) onder leiding van Mauricio Fuks gedurende 3 jaar. Onlangs heb ik mijn masterdiploma behaald aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag, onder leiding van Ilona Sieh Dhian Ho.

Mijn vioollessen bij Apprentus zijn bedoeld om plezier te hebben in het muziek maken en tegelijkertijd beter te worden in het bespelen van dit prachtige instrument! Iedereen, alle niveaus en leeftijden zijn welkom bij mijn lessen! Ik zie mezelf als een flexibele en geïnteresseerde viooldocent die luistert naar de behoeften van elk van zijn leerlingen en wat zij muzikaal interessant vinden. Wat mijn vioolmethodiek betreft, werk ik met de lesmethoden van Suzuki en Galamian, die ik combineer met een breed spectrum aan vioolstukken die geleidelijk worden opgebouwd van beginners tot meer gevorderde spelers. Hallo allemaal, mijn naam is Bardia een ervaren en enthousiaste viooldocent in Rotterdam.
Plezier en persoonlijke ontwikkeling zijn de sleutelwoorden voor mijn lesgeven.
Het belangrijkste voor mij is dat studenten zich op hun gemak voelen bij mijn lesgeven en zich gemotiveerd voelen na een les. Daarom zullen we veel stukken samen spelen in duo's, waarbij we proberen om in je eigen tempo medeplichtigheid te ontwikkelen, nooit haast.
Last but not least wil ik ook studenten trainen en instrueren om een hoog mentaal niveau te bereiken om zich vrij van beperkingen en stress te kunnen uiten.

Via een gepersonaliseerde methode, afgestemd op uw behoeften en wensen, zullen we alle soorten repertoire samen behandelen, gaande van barok en klassieke muziek tot modernere stijlen zoals pop.
Lessen kunnen gegeven worden in het Engels, Nederlands, Spaans, Italiaans, Frans en Farsi.

Ik geef les op alle niveaus, van beginners tot gevorderden, met bijzondere aandacht voor amateurspelers.

Piano is surely amongst the most interesting instrument in the world for a simple reason: compared to the other instruments that are usually limited to one voice, piano uses the ten fingers at the same time, giving hundreds of possibilities of different voicings and harmony.

I am a French student studying in the Hague. My passion has always been piano. I did 9 years in a French music academy where I finished the entire curriculum. I have been teaching piano to 4 students the two last years in London and I am willing to continue transmitting my passion now that I am in the Hague.

I teach piano to people of all age, without omitting to mention a little bit of music theory so that students get a clear understanding of the instrument they are playing. All this in a fun way! For example, understanding and analyzing how modern tubes and hit songs are made is a fun way to learn music without necessarily using a more conventional method. My students can play whatever music they want, from classical pieces, to jazz themes, all the way to modern tic-toc songs, I always let them play what they want. The most important is to enjoy, this is the really key to progress.

Actuellement étudiante en Master Pédagogie, en Harpe au Conservatoire Royal de La Haye, je propose des cours des cours de harpe, celtique ou classique, pour tous niveaux ! Je propose également des cours de solfège, ou théorie musicale, afin de transmettre toutes les clés nécessaires aux élèves pour qu'ils puissent s'épanouir musicalement.

With more than 200 students through all my life, more than 500 shows (mostly in Spain but also around Europe and a couple of minitours in America), 15 CD’s/EP/singles published (as a frontman, sideman and producer), a bachelor in jazz-modern music guitar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half bachelor in piano jazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long professional music career behind me playing a ton of different styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae...), I’ve come from Barcelona to Rotterdam to continue my musical journey by doing the latin master at Codarts.

I’ve been working as a music teacher for around 12 years (I’m 29 years old), both doing private lessons and in different music schools, being the most important one the “Escola de Música Creu Alta” in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the biggest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was the Head of the Modern Music Department.

I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, musical production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare themselves for the music bachelor. I can adapt totally to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, since I have a lot of experience, I have the lessons well planned, I know which songs and exercises work better depending on the aspect that we want to work (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone playing I can see in which aspects is the person strong, and in which aspects has the person more problems, so that way you won’t waste your time! Also I’m a fun and very empathic person so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!!

I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we can do the classes in one of these languages.

My name is Abraham, and I’m a third year jazz piano student at Codarts Rotterdam. I have been playing for 14 years, most of which were spent in classical music. I teach all levels and styles (classical, pop, jazz, etc.). It can be with or without theory, depending on what you prefer.
