Ik ben bekend met het geven van wiskunde bijles aan middelbare scholieren! Mijn doel is om een leerling te helpen op een effectieve maar ook leuke manier. Ik ben van mening dat wanneer de docent enthousiast is, de leerling ook enthousiaster wordt!

Ik ben Senna en ben 22 jaar. Op dit moment studeer ik Commerciële Economie aan de Hogeschool Utrecht. Ik heb 5 jaar lang gewerkt in de bijles en huiswerkbegeleiding praktijk van m'n moeder waar ik kinderen heb begeleid en bijles heb gegeven in wiskunde. Tijdens een wiskunde bijles probeer ik de stof/opdrachten op een begrijpelijke en leuke manier uit te leggen, zodat het langer blijft hangen. Ik bereid altijd mijn bijles voor zodat de tijd optimaal benut kan worden, ook voor als de leerling nog vragen heeft. Vaak voorafgaand aan de bijles stem ik af wat de leerling graag zou willen behandelen, zodat ik me goed kan voorbereiden en inlezen. Ik ben zelf erg flexibel als het aankomt op plotselinge veranderingen, bijvoorbeeld last minute toch een ander tijdstip of dag voor de bijles. Ik verwacht deze flexibiliteit ook terug van de leerling.

Op dit moment studeer ik Commerciële Economie aan Hogeschool Utrecht. Op dit moment zit ik in m'n 3e jaar en specialiseer ik me in de richting Marketing en Sales.

Je suis un professeur particulier de mathématiques qualifié et expérimenté. Diplômé de l'Université libre de Bruxelles en 2011, j'ai débuté ma carrière en dispensant des cours de remédiations dans différentes écoles de Bruxelles. Je me suis ensuite spécialisé dans le soutien scolaire individuel en suivant une formation pédagogique de la Harvard Graduate School of Education. Je donne des cours particuliers de mathématiques quotidiennement depuis plus d'une dizaine d'années.

Les élèves qui suivent mes cours particuliers bénéficient d'un accompagnement personnalisé. La première séance est consacrée à un bilan approfondi des connaissances en mathématiques de l'élève. L'objectif est de déceler ses points faibles et d'en comprendre leur origine afin d'adapter mes cours à ses besoins. J'élabore pour chacun de mes élèves un programme de remédiation sur-mesure visant à combler chacune de ses lacunes. Au fil des séances, l'élève construit des bases solides d'apprentissage et retrouve confiance en lui. Je l'aide en parallèle à acquérir une méthodologie de travail qui lui permet de devenir progressivement autonome dans ses études.

J'ai une parfaite connaissance du programme de mathématiques du Collège et du Lycée (de la Sixième à la Terminale). Je suis également qualifié pour accompagner les élèves dans la préparation des examens internationaux tels que le SAT, l'OMPT, ainsi que le Baccalauréat International (IB) dans toutes ses déclinaisons : Analysis and Approaches (AA SL/HL) et Applications and Interpretation (AI SL/HL).

Au cours de mes années de formation, j'ai étudié et développé de nombreuses techniques qui facilitent l'apprentissage des mathématiques. La force de mon approche pédagogique réside dans ma faculté à expliquer de façon simple tout ce que l'élève trouve compliqué. Je suis passionné par ce métier car il m'offre l'opportunité de guider des élèves en décrochage scolaire sur le chemin de la réussite. C'est un réel plaisir de les voir évoluer et se réconcilier avec le monde fantastique des mathématiques.

Je dispense mes cours particuliers à Paris (au domicile de l'élève) ou à distance (en ligne par internet). Mes cours à distance se déroulent sur un tableau blanc interactif en ligne. Ce tableau est spécialement conçu pour favoriser l'interaction élève/professeur sur internet. Grâce à cet outils pédagogique, mes cours en ligne sont aussi efficaces que des cours à domicile. L'élève a uniquement besoin d'une connexion internet et d'un ordinateur, une tablette, ou un smartphone pour en profiter.

Thanks to math-focused workshops I attended throughout my primary and high school, I have learned how to explain mathematical concepts in simple language. This is what matters most to me — that the students I tutor truly understand mathematics. That is why I use elements of the Hejny method, which is based on guiding students to solve the problems on their own. I mainly ask questions or further explain the theory, which helps students work more independently on problems.

It is important to me that we have enough time to focus not only on what students are currently covering at school, but also on strengthening the fundamentals, which will help them succeed more in the future.

I tutor elementary and high school students who feel unsure about mathematics, and I believe that through working together we can help them feel confident and at home with math.
