This introductory course is designed for students with little or no prior knowledge of Dutch. You will learn the basics of everyday communication, including greetings, introducing yourself, asking simple questions, numbers, time, and essential vocabulary for daily life. Through interactive exercises, speaking practice, and cultural insights, you will build confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. By the end of the course, you will be able to engage in simple conversations and understand basic Dutch in real-life situations.

I teach (basic) Dutch to (young) adults who speak other languages. The purpose of the lesson is to be able to have easy and simple conversations in daily life. In addition, there is also practice on language comprehension and written language production. We practice Dutch on the basis of role plays, audio clips and newspaper articles. Also people who already have some knowledge of Dutch are more than welcome to join. During the first lesson we will discuss your requirements so that I can adapt my lessons accordingly.

Prepare in an efficient, intensive way for the ITNA (Interuniversity Language Test Dutch), based on tailor-made exercises.
We practice together on language in use, grammar and vocabulary, gap texts, structuring exercises, dictation, presentations and argumentation.

Hola!

Would you like to learn Spanish in an interactive way with a focus on speaking? Do you love Latin American culture as much as I do? Say no more!

We first look at where you are now and what you would like to achieve and I adjust my lesson based on that. Having lived in Ecuador, I know all too well how important it is to be truly immersed in a language. That's why I think practice is very important: talking about your interests! Because... one learns by doing :D

Not: pure theory and rules while sitting down
Do: theory and practice - we chat a lot and get to work with photos, music, cooking, etc...

The lessons are standard at my home in Ghent Center (negotiable in Aalter). Due to training, I will not be available one Thursday and Friday per month until January '25. The other weeks and on Saturdays.
