I am currently working as an account manager for an IT company in the Brussels region. That means that I often have to make phone calls in French. This not only provides academic knowledge, but also practical knowledge.

Hi, I'd love to help you learn French, whether it's from scratch or to help you improve. I love to let my students speak because I strongly believe that practice is the key to learning a language and improving your knowledge. During our first lesson we will discuss your goals and level and I will tailor a lesson for you. I like to structure my classes according to topics based on everyday life situations (how you introduce yourself, how to make an appointment, go shopping, go to the doctor, professional language, etc.). We will go through the grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. If you are an average person, we will also give some lessons on reading comprehension + speaking. We will put both grammar and vocabulary into practice.

Do you already speak (a little) Dutch and are you looking for someone to practice with? I am happy to apply!

We speak Dutch and I observe where you make mistakes. I paraphrase in the conversation and correct where necessary. Before the lesson we agree on what you will practice on. This way we can also measure whether things are going better after the session. We can practice the other goals in the next session.

When you learn a language, a lot of practice is so important! You will notice that you make enormous progress when you speak Dutch for a long time with someone who listens carefully to you and coaches you on pronunciation, choice of words, sentence structure, ... You choose what your goal is, together we patiently practice until you succeed.

I am a teacher of Dutch to newcomers who speak Dutch at a primary school in Antwerp. Before this I gave Dutch lessons abroad to all ages for 8 years. Learning Dutch is not easy, but by practicing a lot with speaking, you quickly get 'that click'. Be sure to give it a try!

Students sometimes cannot always follow along well in certain lessons because it sometimes goes a bit quickly and sometimes they just need a little more time to understand certain things. Understanding the learning material is very important. That is why I offer tutoring tailored to every student! Every student is different and learns differently. Due to the teacher training, I have completed and the years of experience in tutoring, I know many (online) tools that allow students to store things in their memory efficiently and better.
