Dutch is a fun language with a rich history. You will master the basics very quickly! Would you like to speak the language a little more fluently? Then things quickly become a bit more challenging. Our Dutch course focuses on the acquisition of basic grammar and vocabulary. Then we move on to more advanced topics, tailored to your needs. This will help prepare you for your professional and academic challenges.

Many expats in Brussels live within the bilingual region or on the outskirts of Brussels. Often the choose to enrol their children in Dutch-speaking schools. Next to Brussels, Flanders is the economic hub of the country, with the most employment opportunities. In Belgium, it is therefore almost indispensable to speak this language to find work and settle in your (new) community.

Take a pen and some paper; handwritten notes will improve your understanding and learning.

Nice to get to know you!
My name is Jan and I'm from Antwerp, Flanders.
There I studied Linguistics and Literature.
I graduated in applied linguistics.
After my studies, I moved to Brussels.
Since 2012, I have been working there as a language trainer and speaker coach for companies and government bodies.
During my work, I mainly focus on the self-reliance of my trainees.
To me, grammar and lexis are mainly tools to master the language, not a goal in itself.
I coach trainees to speak with self-confidence and impact.
Besides Dutch, I can also guide you through the history of Brussels and through the beer menus in your local pub ;)

Student in pharmaceutical science at UCL, I offer tutoring courses for students ranging from the first year of primary school to the first or second level of secondary school. I followed a course in linguistic immersion in Dutch for 6 years, which allowed me to acquire a good level of spoken and written (also in scientific subjects).

Arabic courses adapted to everyone's needs, the first module of 13 courses is already intended to identify the structure of Arabic, understand and read. Grammar is complicated I know, it is studied implicitly by a well thought out method, based on immersion and interaction and provided by an expert in the teaching of the Arabic language to non-Arabic speakers (children or adults).
