Throughout the years, I've donned various hats—as an archaeologist unearthing ancient treasures, a museum educator bringing history to life, and a guest lecturer sharing insights with eager minds. However, it's my passion for teaching Greek that truly ignites my spirit. With a Bachelor's degree in History and Archaeology from a prestigious Greek University, supplemented by a Master of Science from a renowned Dutch University, my academic journey has been one of exploration and discovery. I am well trained in online education, experienced, oriented and updated with the latest educational methods. However, my strengths are rather in contemporary and modern style, hip hop, breakdance, belly dancing, and Persian dance. We can also specialize in one of these if you are interested. Originally from Madeira (Portugal), I have been playing the violin for more than 20 years. After graduating from Bachelor and Masters, both at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, I have decided to pursue my education in the teaching field, currently enrolled on a second master's degree, this time in teaching.

In addition to already having a vast curriculum as a soloist or orchestral musician, I consider myself highly passionate about teaching, not only violin but also music theory. I have been very lucky to have had great teachers, who, in addition to have taught me the violin and the love for music, they have also shaped the person I am today.

I can't find anything more rewarding than to share everything what I learned throughtout all these years!

The pedagogical structure is adaptable to the situation; school-aged children with Portuguese parent(s) who don't always have the time and opportunity to teach them, adults who need practical advice and relatively quick skill training because of a Portuguese-speaking partner, friend, traveling, etc...
Students are always encouraged to develop their interest in the Portuguese language.

Always wanted to learn Spanish, but the regular lessons go too fast and/or it doesn't stick, then follow these tailor-made lessons.

Why class for 40+, because we have learned from our own experience how difficult it is to learn another language later in life and that most books/courses are based for younger students.

All lessons are adapted to your individual needs and speed.

You do not need to purchase any books, all materials will be delivered by email. This is because we work with several books and in this way we can offer a lot of learning material and thus make the learning material varied (and also rehearse more often if necessary.)

There is no minimum or maximum number of lessons, you are the one who determines the frequency. Of course you can also do these lessons with your partner.

Lessons are given online via Skype and last 1.5 hours at a time.
Lessons can be given during the day or in the evening.
