Certified TEFL Tutor for Business English or Coversational English

I specialise in preparing students for English exams such as BULATS, IELTS, TOEFL and TOEIC. Listening, reading, writing and speaking.
I customise and adjust my courses according to each individual.
My ultimate goal is to keep students motivated and engaged, and not feel overwhelmed. I can speak from experience, as I have had to learn (and still have a long way to go) French. A very complex language! So there is hope, English can be fun and we will get you speaking, reading and writing - whatever your goal is!

I am a motivated, passionate and patient person. I have been teaching English as a Foreign Language for the past 5 years in France. I absolutely love my job!
I tailor and customise each course with each of my students. I find what interests you have and base my courses around that. I find that it is easier to understand and remember information if you can relate to the topic.
I have a true understanding of how daunting it can be to learn a new language. I was born in South Africa (my mother-tongue is English). I lived in London for 15 years and Edinburgh for 5 years. Listening to different English accents and dialects was quite an adjustment, but really good fun. After having lived in the UK for 20, I had an opportunity to move to the French Riviera. An opportunity, I obviously, could not refuse!
The problem was the language. As beautiful and magnificent as the French language is, I have found it to be an incredibly complex langauge to learn - certainly one that I have NOT mastered by a long shot, but I am determined to speak it fluently.
Having experienced the complexities of aqcuiring a new langauge, I can certainly relate to the frustrations. So do not despair! We will work together to make English as fun, easy and enjoyable to learn.
