My lessons are based on full immersion, meaning you learn French by actually using it in real-life situations rather than following a traditional textbook structure.

If you’re following a school curriculum or have specific topics to cover, I can absolutely adapt the immersion activities to support that - so you’re still meeting your goals while learning in a practical, engaging way.

I offer both one-on-one sessions and small group lessons. The focus is on speaking, understanding, and experiencing the language as it’s really used.

About Me

I am a native French speaker living in the UK with experience supporting both children and adults in learning French in a natural, engaging and confidence-building way.

For children, I use a relaxed and immersive approach through play, conversation and everyday activities to help them develop confidence and begin speaking French naturally over time.

For adults, I offer conversational practice, vocabulary development, reading support and tailored lessons adapted to individual goals - whether that’s improving confidence, preparing for travel, supporting studies, or simply practising spoken French in a relaxed environment.

I adapt my teaching style to each person’s age, personality and learning preferences, with a focus on making French feel approachable, practical and enjoyable.

Education

I completed English Literature studies in France before moving to Belfast, and later obtained a degree in Management from Ulster University. As a native French speaker living in the UK, I combine academic experience with a natural and practical approach to language learning for both children and adults.

French might be one of the most complex language to learn. Letters that we do not pronounce, irregularities at each corner, one word meaning three different thing for a same pronunciation, sometimes an abstruse syntax... It is rather normal to have difficulties to learn it ! My goal is to make you exercise, to keep you challenged and curious about french culture.

Hence, you will mainly practice during this class. Through discussion, memory games, reading or writing. I only assign homework when the student has time to do it. French is meant to be enjoyed! I certainly do not want to overwhelm you. A short recap of the class will be sent to you after each session.

This class is designed for any level. From beginners to almost fluent students, the only thing you will need is curiosity and energy. Should you need to pass a test, a certificate, or should you just want to learn French to show off, we will make sure that your aims are achieved.

(Classes are also available in German and in English)

I have studied French Literature and have completed a Bachelor in Translation at the University of Bordeaux (English/Spanish and French).

I am passionate by my language, country and culture and I love to share it with my students during my classes through grammar, conversation, writing, videos, informal classes at the museum etc. I use different supports (books, videos, plays, writing) to make you learn meanwhile enjoying the process.

I come from the South of France, nearby the border with Spain and have studied Spanish from a very young age, I have also lived in Spain and travelled in South America. Therefore I will be happy to help you with your prononciation, grammar, essays.

I make my classes fun, interactive and well structured to help you reach your learning goals. Together before we start the class we decide whether you want to focus on improving your written skills, want to improve your practice or want to mix both. I always mix in my classes grammar and vocabulary and often have themed-classes that will make you learn faster and enjoy the learning process.
