This course is designed to teach you how to plan out written work, research, create, and then final edit written work. The course is flexible and can be modified based on your specific needs, skills, and interests. This is particularly useful for students who are preparing for a major written assignment, or for anyone who needs to get some additional help.

This is a class for students who are struggling to perfect their skills in the English language. I will start with a basic assessment of your skills. Then I will work with the student to develop a comprehensive plan to assist them in understanding the rules of English. My goal is to take students who are struggling and turn them into confident students.

This course is designed to assist students who are completing their Extended Essays for the IBDP. I will give you the tools you need plan, organize, and ultimately execute a high level project. I have taught the Extended Essay for multiple years and am well aware of the requirements of the programme. I teach writing and am prepared to give you the skills needed to succeed.

This course will give you the practical skills to master a history essay. I will teach you the proper way to structure your essay and how to properly cite your sources. Additionally, I will teach you techniques to write effective essays in a short period of time, allowing you to succeed on timed history essays. I have a background in the IB Programme and am particularly skilled in Historical Investigations and IBDP Paper 2.

I am a qualified secondary teacher with seven years of experience. I am familiar with the Common Core and American AERO standards. Additionally, I have taught the IB programme for the last four years. I love to help students who are struggling master the content using a wide array of methods. My classes will be designed to suit the needs of your child. I will provide regular progress updates and additional work to keep your child learning in between sessions.
