History is a dialogue between the past and the present. It is based on the idea of a continuation, a cause-and-effect rule. Similarly, language is a medium of dialogue. Standing the test of time and through globalisation and colonisation, English has become the language of the globe now. Efficiency in English is becoming a must. To be successful in life, learning history and English has become important. I truly believe that learning is an exercise which can only happen through dialogue. So my classes stand on three pillars, namely, interaction, engagement and inculcation. I try to teach with a student-centric approach, designing and conducting classes based on the aptitude and capability of my students. I encourage them to ask more questions and speak more in the process of learning so that self-interest can develop. My idea is not to make the student dependent on me but to make them independent so that learning becomes a process of ease for them.
