I am a 25 year-old dedicated classical pianist and piano teacher passionate about helping students achieve their musical goals. I have degrees in psychology and music from the University of Washington, have been playing seriously since I was nine, and have been teaching piano to students of all levels and ages for the last two years. My deep classical training and patient friendly demeanor make me especially well suited for teaching: kids beginner adults, Intermediate to advanced pianists interested in classical music - especially Bach Starting from the first lesson I will ask you about your goals and interest in piano, and ask you for a list of songs you like in order to personalize our lessons together such that they will best help you reach your goals and be as engaging as possible. If you are a beginner, I work with you on lesson and theory books, supplementing my own material when appropriate so that my lessons are tailored to your individual needs. When you are intermediate to advanced, we will work on the finer details of proper technique, interpretation, and effective practice - ensuring that you have the right strategies for achieving your musical goals.
