You need the TCF IRN for: ● an application for French nationality; ● an application for a long-term resident card; ● an application for a multi-year residence permit; ● validation of level A1 as part of the OFII citizen course. The TCF IRN is made up of 4 compulsory tests and has a total duration of 1 hour 35 minutes: ● Oral comprehension: Group test: 25 multiple-choice questions (4 answer choices, only one correct answer).
