I am a 28-year-old Irishman who has been traveling the world as a teacher for the past 6 years.

I am about to move to Vienna, my favorite city in the world. I speak German at an intermediate level. I aim to become fluent during my time in Austria - drück die Daumen!

I am a published author. I write primarily in the science fiction genre. To date, my work has been featured on the internet, on podcast and in printed anthology.

Like you, I am learning a language - German. I therefore understand the difficulties that you will face on your journey, and how to overcome them.

My interests include fitness, football, snowboarding, reading, gaming, and much more!

My name is Denise I’m a Mexican Spanish as Foreign Language tutor (ELE Español Lengua Extranjera as acronym) certified by "Escuela Internacional Cervantes" with a Bachelor in Spanish Literature by the University of Nuevo León Mexico (UANL).

I started teaching and tutoring Spanish at a very young age helping my colleagues from High School achieve better scores and later I formalize this activity while finishing my university studies.
For the last seven years, I’ve been teaching Spanish in America and Europe to a broad variety of students: children/teenage tutoring, in-company adult students, online orientation and freelance translation for diverse projects.

I follow a flexible method adapting to the student’s level and personal goals.

Learning a foreign language is not a linear process that consists of memorising a list of words, and speaking a foreign language is not an oral translation exercise.

There are two types of approaches to acquiring knowledge:

When asked what year follows 1999, you can immediately answer 2000 without having to think for a long time and, above all, without having memorised each number individually, starting with 1, 2, 3 ... You know that numbers are formed according to a certain pattern. With only ten digits, you can form an infinite number of numbers and always know which number comes next.

When it comes to the alphabet, words and sentences, it's more or less the same, but school pedagogy, school textbooks and regular lessons still follow the rote learning approach. In the lessons I propose, you will learn to use patterns because this is more efficient and faster.

Learning is easy, but unlearning bad habits is extremely difficult. This makes it all the more important to learn the right reflexes as early as possible.

My offer is aimed at both young people and adults who want to learn German or improve their knowledge without wasting time on nonsensical school methods.

I spent six months in Chile where I passed the TEFL exam and worked as an English teacher in multinational companies where I gained experience teaching students English at all levels. Having studied international relations, I enjoy using cultural & political topics in my classes using podcasts, ted talks, movie clips or newspaper articles to teach vocabulary and grammar.
Franco-Australian, and having studied in France, I am happy to give French classes as well !

Learning French for professional, student or personal reasons is an excellent way to discover one of the most spoken languages in the world. Despite its many exceptions and rules, French remains a very interesting language, in its description of the world and in its history.

Graduated with a Master's degree in teaching French as a foreign and second language and a bachelor in language sciences and French sign language, I offer my services for private lessons, in Vienna, until June 2024 minimum.

I am currently a French assistant in two high schools. I have already taught at a university in Montreal as a trainee teacher and last year at the French primary school in Belgrade. We can use German and English to communicate.
