Hello prospective students and parents! My name is Karen, I'm a graduate of the University of Tokyo and currently studying a Master of Laws at BPP Cambridge. I have a wide range of experience teaching languages, humanities and music both through private tuition and at various schools and institutions. I am half Japanese half English, though I have grown up in the UK so I can speak fluently in either language (British English/Japanese). I am a enthusiastic and patient teacher who will provide personalised support to help you achieve your goals. Whether in person or online, I would love to hear from you to set up a lesson!

🇬🇧Hello! I'm Erika from Tokyo.
I previously worked in a trading company and in a music agency in Japan.
I studied Russian at university (C1 level) and French in Paris (B2 level), so I truly understand how challenging it is to start a new language and continue until you reach an intermediate or even advanced level.

I enjoy playing musical instruments, dancing, and doing crafts.
As a naturally curious person, I don't want you to give up learning something new just because you feel you may not have enough time for self-study.

With me, you can simply keep going at a steady pace —
I will remind you of essential points, help you build habits, and guide you in every lesson, so you can make progress without stress or worrying about time management.

I can work remotely and can offer lessons early in the morning Japan time, so I am available for students in Europe or America as well.

Please feel free to contact me with your preferred schedule.

I look forward to supporting your Japanese learning journey!

🇫🇷Hello! My name is Erika and I'm from Tokyo.
I worked in a trading company as well as in a music agency in Japan.
I studied Russian at university (C1 level) and French in Paris (B1 level).
So I know how difficult it can be to start a new language and progress to an intermediate or advanced level.

I enjoy playing instruments, dancing, and creating handcrafted items.
Being naturally curious, I would like to accompany you so that you too can start something new without fear or hesitation.

With me, you won't need to worry about self-learning time:
I will guide you regularly, I will repeat the important points, and you will be able to progress simply by attending the classes — without stress.

I can work remotely and teach early in the morning, Japan time.
Therefore, I can easily adapt to students living in Europe or America.
Feel free to contact me to let me know your preferred times.

I would be delighted to help you discover Japanese and progress at your own pace!
