I'm a passionate guitar and music teacher with a 10 year experience in music teaching for any ages and levels.
I focused in my last years on experimenting a new flexible and adjustable method that works very well with children, in order to develop the music skills, the creativity and spontaneity, with a lots of gamified music activities.
My teaching method is based on creativity, and it's builded up on the single student needs.
We will work on composition, improvisation, you will learn step by step how to play your favourite songs or pieces and how to write and improvise your own music!
Learning to play and to express yourself through the guitar will be fun!

I'm a passionate guitar and music theory/composition teacher, with ten years of experience in both children and adults music teaching. I developed through the years a method focused on creativity, improvisation, maieutics, learning by doing, practice before theory in order to let the student understand and give value to his/her own way of learning and have the best

Music, improvisation and music storytelling for Children

Every child is a musician an improviser and an explorer! This class will guide her/him through her/his own exploration of the music territories in order to develop creativity, listening skills, spontaneity in a safe, protected environment, free from judgment and strict music rules.
This music path will build a strong and solid ground, for every kind of future music activity the child will take.

This method involves singing, playing (I can provide some instruments like a guitar, little percussions, etc. for the lesson time), improvising, composing, drawing, writing and it's aimed to work in a playful way on the sense of rhythm and pitch, creativity, music-related analytic skills. The method wants to help and support the children in the discovery of the music in a personal and individual way, pinpointing out the children's needs, empowering her/his talents.

My name is David, I'm a trumpet player, composer, and conductor based in Rotterdam.
I started to study music when I was 8 years old and I get the Professional Music degree in the specialty of classical trumpet at the Conservatory of Noia (Galicia, Spain) and I've been playing Jazz since I was a teenager.

In my country, I have been a student with teachers such as Paco Charlín or Abe Rábade, whom I have considered my mentors for years, but I have also studied and attended numerous masterclasses and workshops with internationally renowned teachers such as Michael Phillip Mossman, Antonio Hart, Darren Barret, Michel Camilo, Logan Richardson, Orrin Evans ...etc.

With 18 years working and studying the trumpet, I have been fortunate to play with numerous artists and projects such as Phillip Dizack, Nelson Cascais, Kyle Poole, Dyna Stephens, Walter White, L.A.R. Legido, Jesús Santandreu, Pontejazz Big Band, CSM Big Band and also with different groups and orchestras of dance and Latin music.

As a teacher, I have experience teaching in different schools, teaching trumpet lessons, music theory, and choir and ensemble conduction, working with both young children and adults and the elderly, aged between 4 and 85.

My classes are individualized and personal, adapting to the needs and concerns of the student to help him evolve and meet his objectives.

First of all, let me just say that I love music. Like, seriously love it. And there's nothing that brings me more joy than sharing that love with others. That's why I've spent the last decade of my life teaching music theory, performance, and technique to students of all ages and levels.

- In a very calm and friendly environment, the classes are organized and planned according to the students' goals/wishes. As someone who was classically trained from age 6 to 18, I believe this is very important for the students well being.

- If you want to improve your piano technique while also enjoying the lesson and having a sense of improvement every week, then these lessons are for you.

- My classes are for everyone that wants t play anything on the piano. Be it jazz, classical, pop, etc... Also, as a composer and pianist, I will give you a different point of view from other piano teachers.

The lessons' contents will vary from student to student but may contain:

- Piano technique
- Music theory;
- Ear training;
- Popular/jazz/classical repertoire

Learning how to play the cello is a fun adventure. If you want to play this wonderful instrument and don ́t know anything yet or you play it already and want to improve your skills, this is the place.

Music is Play! and everyone is its own game.
Understand and make only the music you like. If it isn't fun, it can't be music!

I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music and playing synths, drum machines, and computers. It's longer than 5 years now!
Electronic music is a very vast world. The possibilities are endless. But do you need to learn everything, or only what interests you to make the music you want to do? From listening and analyzing a song you like, we will go through the necessary knowledge for you to achieve it:
- What do you need to build your home studio in order to create something similar?
- Which instruments (or plugins) are being used.
- Whether or not a knowledge of music theory is necessary.
- And in which different ways / through which paths could you achieve something like what you desire?

At the same time that we analyze and learn, you are also going to be encouraged to create! Practice makes the master, and the more you create, the more familiar you'll be with the tools and the environments that we learn in class. A part of the class is also going to be dedicated to listening to what you created and going through different ways we may improve it.

For people interested in live electronics (live-processing an acoustic instrument or programming live sets), I also have knowledge of Max MSP and I can teach the basics or help you program any kind of device you propose.

PD: I have also experienced imparting piano lessons, which is also a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create any kind of path between piano, synths, beats, and home studio techniques.

It's also not important if you cannot read music, I can help you with that as well. If you are already a singer, we will work in order to refine your technique.

Although I have the most experience with classical, I am able and I am glad to teach other styles!

Voice, breathing, and posture are connected and fundamental for a healthy technique so we will also work on that while we focus on your voice.

Singing can be very personal and confronting but do not fear, we work in a safe environment.

I am Celia, a professional saxophonist and singer. I am offering individual (online or face-to-face) lessons in Saxophone, Singing, Improvisation, or Music Theory. I have seven years of experience as a teacher.

In my lessons, I adapt completely to the needs of the student, regardless of their age or level.
