Hello i’m Massimiliano, a professional musician and composer from Italy living in Rotterdam since six years.
I play clarinet and saxophone and I graduated from Codarts Rotterdam three years ago!
I love to share my passion for music with my students and currently i am teaching at home and also doing workshops for small kids around the city!
I teach music at any level:
Beginner : with me you can start playing the clarinet or the saxophone step by step even if you didn’t have any previous musical education
Intermediate: if you already know how to play we can learn new music and progress in your knowledge of the instrument, learning jazz, pop or other music genres.
Advanced: i can help you to achieve your goals as professional musician, to pass the audition for a conservatory or for a professional job position!

With experience teaching students of all ages, Sandra Pérez is an acclaimed clarinet player who will help you achieve your musical goals -whether it may be just getting acquainted with the clarinet or if you are already looking to pursue higher education. Can't read music? No problem! Complementary music theory and music history are part of the class as needed.

I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory.

I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time!

I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing.

My lessons include warmups, technique, working on pieces of various repertoire, playing in duo with me, and more. For music theory, I like to come up with playful exercises of my own according to the student's needs and level.

I started playing the piano when I was 8 years old. By that time I already could feel I would become a professional musician and teacher. I got my first bachelor in piano in 2007. When I was 13 years old, I started having harpsichord lessons and expanding my knowledge of classical and early music. In 2012 I got my bachelor degree in harpsichord and in 2014 my master degree at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. Currently, I’m working with my ensemble, teaching piano and harpsichord, and am now doing my Ph.D. in Performative Arts at Leiden University

I absolutely love to teach and pass my experience as a musician to my students on both instruments. I like to see them improving and have fun while playing.
I work with several ways of teaching, depending on the student level and music background.

Normally I work with piano methods with kids from 9 -12 years old. I can teach music theory if necessary and if it will improve the student’s needs to progress and reach their goals, I do that with pleasure. Harmony and a bit of keyboard improvisation are also very welcome to the class.

My specialty is classical music, more specifically, baroque music, although I have notions of pop, jazz, and improvisation. Because I have sporting and personal training backgrounds, I’m specialized also on correcting postures and eventually avoid or solve pain issues when regarding playing.

SPECIALISED IN TEACHING ADULTS.
Would you like to learn one of the instruments which have more style possibilities? Would you like to know why many composers say that is a very powerful instrument because it fits in may situations? Did you know that in the Klezmer history clarinet substituted the violin for projection reasons but also because perfectly able to imitate the human voice, crying or laughing? One of my priorities as a musician is the sound. I believe that with a beautiful and personal sound you are able at every level to transmit emotion and meaning, it doesn’t matter the difficulty or the level. So I try to focus first on awareness of what’s beautiful for the student and what’s not. Then through technique and repertoire (suggestions of the student or suggestions of mine that can help to grow the student curiosity), we develop the student knowledge.

Always helping the student to understand -depending on his/her the theoretical level- what we are doing, putting together music and theory. And giving tools to expand the border, at all levels. I have knowledge and experience in Jazz, Classical, Klezmer, Choro Music and Improvisation.
You just need a precious element!

• Music Theory
I focus on having a good basics, spending as much as we need to understand every single thing, because then with times it becomes more easy. I try to help the student simplifying the material because then, we only with ourselves with a good procedure of the basics to solve any problem. Only with one lesson, you will understand what I mean.

I have experience in preparing students for exams, the ones for the semester as well as any official exam; doesn't matter if you have an intermediate theory level and you want to improve, or if you would like to be stronger solidifying the knowledge you have (which is always the best option), or if you don’t know anything about notes and music concepts and you would like to be familiar with them. Maybe you are an adult who always wanted to improvise but doesn’t know where to start...?
The only thing you need is a good organization -which I can provide- to reach any goal!

I graduated 2 years ago at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague and I offer both violin and viola lessons to all ages and levels in The Hague and surroundings.

My name is Carla Peña and I come from Barcelona. Since I was a child, music has played an important role in my life. I started learning music when I was 4 years old and cello when at the age of 6. I discovered my love for music and that is what I share with my students.

FIRST LESSON:
The first lesson consists of getting to know each other. This is essential to choose the best teaching approach. All the students are unique, that is why I always choose the method that adapts better to your needs. Then, we elaborate a personal plan, depending on your level, expectations, practice time, and taste.

TECHNIQUE:
Learning the proper technique of the instrument is very important to avoid injuries and to be able to express ourselves and perform our musical ideas in a successful way. That is why we learn nice songs in different styles, depending on your taste (from classical to jazz, film music, pop, etc.) and we combine it with cello method books with progressive exercises to improve the cello knowledge.
In the case of young beginners, we also play cello games during the lesson to make the learning experience dynamic and fun! Children can lose attention and get bored very quickly!

Playing together is an essential part of enjoying music. Therefore, the last part of the lesson always consists of playing cello duets and having fun!

ABOUT ME:

I studied my Bachelor in Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona, with professor Amparo Lacruz. Then, I decided to continue my studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the class of Michel Strauss and Jan-Ype Nota.
During my studies in The Hague, I did a teaching internship at the Royal Conservatory as a part of their Minor in Music Education. I also taught in several Music Schools during my studies in Spain.
Currently, I teach private students in The Hague and I created a cultural center in The Hague called Pandora Studio.

I'm a professional musician, I studied classical guitar in Chili, I lived for 5 years in Buenos Aires to learn the Argentinean Tango, and now I'm doing my master in the world music department at codarts.

I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making.

I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. With more than 200 students through all my life, more than 500 shows (mostly in Spain but also around Europe and a couple of minitours in America), 15 CDs/EP/singles published (as a frontman, sideman and producer), a bachelor in jazz-modern music guitar (Taller de Músics - Barcelona), half bachelor in piano jazz (Conservatori del Liceu - Barcelona) and a long professional music career behind me playing a ton of different styles (pop, rock, funk, metal, jazz, folk, rumba, reggae...), I've come from Barcelona to Rotterdam to continue my musical journey by doing the latin master at Codarts.

I've been working as a music teacher for around 12 years (I'm 29 years old), both doing private lessons and in different music schools, being the most important one the “Escola de Música Creu Alta” in Sabadell (Barcelona), which is one of the biggest music schools in Spain (with more than 900 students), in which I was the Head of the Modern Music Department.

I teach guitar (electric and classical), piano (electric and classical), composition, musical production (with Logic Pro), ensemble and modern music theory AT ALL LEVELS, from 100% beginners to people who want to prepare themselves for the music bachelor. I can adapt totally to what the student wants and is looking for, but also, since I have a lot of experience, I have the lessons well planned, I know which songs and exercises work better depending on the aspect that we want to work (tempo, chords, scales, sound, improvisation...) and when I see someone playing I can see in which aspects is the person strong, and in which aspects has the person more problems, so that way you won't waste your time! Also I'm a fun and very empathetic person so we will have fun, which is the most important thing!!

I speak 6 languages: Catalan, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Dutch and English, so we can do the classes in one of these languages.

The lessons can take place in my home (Maashaven metro station) where I have a nice setup, online or in your home.

My name is Abraham, and I’m a third year jazz piano student at Codarts Rotterdam. I have been playing for 14 years, most of which were spent in classical music. I teach all levels and styles (classical, pop, jazz, etc.). It can be with or without theory, depending on what you prefer. The duration of the lessons is flexible and three locations are possible (apart from your house, if you prefer that): Kruisplein, 3012 CC, Willem Buytewechstraat, 3024 BP, or Essenburgsingel, 3022 EM.

Hi! I’m Sara from Italy, and since I was young, music has been a constant companion in my life.
