Hello! I am an English, Drama and Functional Skills teacher and I have been teaching children and adults from all kinds of backgrounds for seven years. My experience includes teaching English for the British Army, teaching English to students in China and teaching online for universities and colleges. I have a friendly, patient and relaxed approach with my students and lessons are tailored to the student's individual needs, rather than pushing them too far too fast. I believe that every person can learn and achieve anything as long as they have a patient teacher and lots of encouragement!
The subjects I teach are as follows: GCSE, A-Level and Undergraduate level English Language, English Literature, Drama, ICT, Geography and Performing Arts, English as a second language, IELTS, Functional Skills Maths and English, CV Writing, Employability, Creative Writing and I also prepare candidates for citizenship tests.

Writing is an important skill, and I believe everyone can achieve their writing goals, no matter how big the challenge. I specialise in tutoring students with English writing skills and offer help with most writing tasks including writing CVs and resumes, cover letters, essays, dissertations and creative writing to name a few. I also assign homework (depending on the student's preferences) and make sure that students always feel that they are making progress.
I am a qualified English teacher and I have been teaching English for five years. I specialise in teaching English as a second language (ESL) but I also teach native English speakers. I have taught hundreds of students from all different nationalities and backgrounds from the age of 3 to 65 including British, Spanish, Romanian, Polish, Chinese, Ukrainian and Nepalese to name a few.
I have helped my students achieve their individual goals such as passing their GCSEs, A-Levels, IELTS exams, Functional Skills exams and Citizenship tests, helping to write dissertations and theses improving their grammar, building confidence in speaking English, delivering a presentation, working on pronunciation, improving their writing skills and writing a CV.
Many of my students have excelled their expected results and I have a 100% pass rate with students I have mentored for exams. I’d like to describe myself as a friendly, patient, fun and enthusiastic teacher that can help you not only build up your confidence in English, but also gain the skills you need to achieve your goal!
