Biology is what keeps us moving. Do you find biology boring and/or difficult to understand? As a biotechnologist, I learnt how biology is actually present in our daily basis, from small actions such as eating a banana, to bigger events such as having a week of exams or attending a concert.

My lessons are adaptable to your needs. Whether you need basic or deep knowledge, whether you need to focus more on cancer biology, cell biology... We can discuss about your needs and we will work accordingly to fill those gaps.

I hold a master degree on Oncology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and I'm currently finishing my PhD in OncoProteomics and Pharmacology.

La biología es lo que nos mantiene en movimiento. ¿Te parece que la biología es aburrida y/o difícil de entender? Como biotecnóloga, aprendí cómo la biología está presente en nuestro día a día, desde pequeñas acciones como comer un plátano, hasta estar en semana de exámenes o asistir a un concierto.

Mis clases se adaptan a tus necesidades. Si necesitas conocimientos básicos o más en profundidad, si necesitas centrarte más en la biología del cáncer, la biología celular... Podemos hablar de tus necesidades y trabajaremos en consecuencia para cubrir esas lagunas.

Tengo un máster en Oncología en la Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam y actualmente estoy terminando mi doctorado en OncoProteómica y Farmacología.

I received a BSc in Biotechnology at Universitat Politécnica of Valencia in Spain in 2016. At that moment, I followed my motivation and gut feeling and came to The Netherlands to study a MSc in Oncology at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I started my PhD project which is entitled “Phosphoproteomics for target discovery in Pancreatic Cancer” at the Oncoproteomics Laboratory and Pharmacology Laboratory.

At the same time, I'm part of the committee of Spanish Scientists in The Netherlands, an association from and for spanish scientists abroad. There, I work for the development and organization of events and projects related to science, as well as a big part of social media management.

Je m'appelle Younes et je donne des cours de langues, pour moi enseigner c'est apprendre 2 fois donc ma méthode d'apprentissage est basée sur la simplicité et surtout il faut avancer selon le rythme de l'étudiant pour lui permettre de s'améliorer et d'acquérir des nouvelles bases et pouvoir assimiler les nouvelles informations sans jamais se saturer. Parfois il vaut mieux aller doucement mais sûrement. En plus, je suis un jeune chercheur en biochimie appliquée et enseignant vacataire à l'université depuis 4 ans, donc pour ceux et celles qui ont des difficultés et des lacunes en biochimie, je serais là pour vous simplifier et surtout vous faire découvrir le monde merveilleux de la biochimie et merci de votre passage.
