Sociology, politics and philosophy are central to a wider understanding within the Humanities. In these classes we can tailor your class around the specific topic area of your choosing, and at the level of study that would be relevant such as A level, Foundation, Access or Undergraduate. I am a lecturer at the University of Sussex in Global Studies. I have a PhD in identity studies, an MA in Cultural and Critical Theory and a BA (hons) in Humanities. I have a PGCE teaching degree and over 10 years of teaching experience from Access to undergraduate levels.

Study skills are an essential part of being successful on any course. Within these classes we will cover a range of essential skills that will help with academic life and completing assignments successfully such as: essay writing, researching, reading techniques, referencing, presentation skills, time management and any other aspects of academic life that you feel you need help or support with.
