Hi, my name is Shanti and I’m a first year University Student at Erasmus University College. I am a native Italian speaker and I’m also fluent in English. My classes will focus on covering the basics of the Italian language as well as getting acquainted with Italian culture. My aim is to provide my students with enough grammatical and cultural knowledge to be able to hold a simple conversation. To teach I will mainly focus on conversational skills, however, I will also use handouts to teach grammatical concepts. I come from a family background of teaching, therefore I know most of the skills necessary to get a concept across to my students. My only hope is that by the end of our lessons, my students will have felt like they did a little trip to Italy and back :)
