WAH GWAAN? learn patois with an experienced teacher! music, dance, your own family, your partner or friends - whatever inspired you to learn it. one thing is for sure: your interest in the language will grow with every lesson! patois it's a rich and beautiful language. not only will i make you a better conversationist but also your knowledge of Jamaican history and culture will grow enormously during our time spend together. my class focusses on the following fields: conversation, history, sayings, proverb, geography, humor the goal is to learn patois, both written and in speech. everything will happen in a lighthearted frame that should be fun for you and me. but no worries, I'll correct you if you make mistakes and I will push you to grow beyond your comfort zone. the ultimate goal is to playfully overcome fear of mistakes, and develop a deeper understanding of how patois actually became what it is which will eventually to you speaking fluently. love for a language is the best point of departure! see you soon
