Hi, my name is Alison! I am offering English tutorial courses for school students working on English exams, and adults interested in practising English conversations.
For students: I myself have taken many English tests, including TOEFL and IETLS (8.5/9). I am happy to help you if you are applying for Universities abroad, preparing for English tests, or college entrance exam.
For adult learners: I obtained my CELTA (Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages), accredited by Cambridge English, in 2021. I can offer tailored lessons based on your needs, be it speaking, listening, or writing-focused classes.
One special course I offer is a writing-feedback course in which we focus on improving your essay writing skills.
I also speak Chinese, so extra point if you would like to learn some Chinese too.

Please note that for the writing-feedback course, you need to send me a draft prior to each session, and we will walk through improving the draft. Extra prep time may be required for writing classes of this type.

It has been a long journey for me to improve my English as a second language, so yes, I can understand what you might be struggling with and what sort of assistance will come be most helpful!
I took many English Tests and got better at them over time. If you are preparing for these, I can help.
I love conversing with people about travel, food, pictures, museums, movies, music and whatnot.
I do have a few degrees too, so if you are interested in research/graduate school, I think my experience may also help. Writing essays can be a challenge but practice makes perfection.

In this class, I will provide a tutorial session to help you prepare for your exams, case studies, group project, and essay in law school.
I specialise in most private law modules/courses, including contract, tort, company, trust and equity, and international law.
Please contact me first to arrange a lesson on the subject and send me the specific materials/problem questions before coming to the class, at least one day before. In the class, we will work on the questions or the drafts you have.
