My name is João and I have a Masters Degree in Pure Mathematics at the ETH Zurich. I was a phD student at the University of Oregon for 1 year, I taught Calculus and Statistics there, but for personal reasons I had to move back to Portugal. My passion is learning and teaching mathematics.

I've been tutoring math for 2 years now. I will help you think about the concepts properly and gain the right mathematical intuition to solve the exercises.

My name is João and Mathematics is my passion. My teaching method consists of helping you think about mathematics the correct way. This makes you actually understand what's going on which reduces memorization to a minimum. I will provide you with plenty of examples and will explain whatever you want in as much detail as you need.
