Violin lessons, from beginners to advanced players

Hello!
Whether you don’t have a violin yet, are just starting out, or are already an advanced player, I warmly welcome you to my studio. During my seven years living in London, I taught around 30 students from kids to adult with warm care and dedication.
I came to the Netherlands two years ago to focus on my early music studies, and have just finished my second master in the Royal Conservatoire The Hague with Distinction.  I would like to share my love towards music through violin learning, and hope you will have enjoy our exploration together as much as I do!
I grew up with the Suzuki books and find that they contain many wonderful gems. In principle, I would like to follow those textbooks. However, if you have other preferences or wishes, please don’t hesitate to let me know.

I work as a freelance violinist, actively performing as a soloist, in chamber music and orchestras. I engage in a wide range of musical activities including contemporary music and collaborations with traditional Japanese instruments.
Former member of the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

September 2016 - July 2018 : M.A. in Royal Academy of Music, graduated with Distinction, DipRAM for an outstanding Final Recital, Marjorie Bunty Lempfert Award, and Moir Carnegie Prize.
September 2023 - June 2025 : M.Mus. Early Music Historical Violin in Royal Conservatoire The Hague, graduated with Distinction

2024 May : Finalist with Il Parrasio, the CIMA International Early Music Competition 2024 in Loire Valley, France.
July : Willem Bouman Grant from Fonds KC.
Finalist with Trio Pellegrino, York Early Music International Young Artists Competition 2024.
October: Second Prize (Top Prize awarded) and "Rovereto, City of Peace" special audience choice prize with Il Parrasio, Premio Bonporti 2024, International Competition for Period Instrument Ensembles, Rovereto, Italy.
2025 : Selected for Ensembles at S-EEEMERGING for 2026 with Il Parrasio.

I am a professional baroque violinist, concert performer, and teacher who graduated from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and Tokyo University of the Arts.
We can make a flexible schedule depending on your plans.

In my lessons, I help the students to find good contact with the instrument, good quality of the sound, and the development of aural skills,
The lessons are adapted to each student's needs and wishes

Jawa (1996) a Syrian oud player, singer and composer.
I was born in Aleppo, and I grew up in Damascus, Syria. I started playing music at the age of eleven. I chose the Oud as my instrument because my father used to play it everyday at home when I was young. Gradually, I fell in love with it and now I feel an unlimited feeling of freedom while playing it. Graduated from Rotterdam Conservatory in 2021.
