I offer Japanese lessons that focus on grammar and vocabulary—both common difficulties—as well as spoken language. The goal of the course is to cover the technical aspects of the language without being overly theoretical or academic. In my lessons, I combine the theoretical aspect of the language, which is essential for speaking correctly, with the practical aspect, which enables one to express oneself clearly and interact effectively with native speakers – while maintaining a certain distance from both sides. Through my experience in interpreting from Japanese and my stays in Japan, I can convey a natural and spontaneous approach to the language. The course focuses on grammar, vocabulary, and writing (kanji). From the perspective of an Indo-European language speaker, the course aims to help learners acquire the structure of the Japanese language naturally, freeing themselves from any possible unconscious biases inherent in their own language. I also place particular emphasis on the connection between written and spoken language—an aspect that often seems surprising in Japanese—so as not to separate the two elements.
