I am a young and professional multi-instrumentalist with a broad knowledge of music. I have been performing for over a decade and in a variety of settings, ranging from concert halls to nightclubs. I also have experience composing music for film and animation and producing albums for singer/songwriters and bands. My interests range from classical music to rock, pop to EDM, jazz to electroacoustic. My five years of study in both South Africa and the UK have equipped me with a thorough understanding of musical styles, history and culture. I have been teaching for five years (through a school for two of them). I have taught both ABRSM and Trinity syllabi with no student receiving a mark below 70% to date! My students have gone on to study music degrees and become professional performers and composers. My teaching style varies depending on the needs of the student. Depending on your aims and availability, we will develop a unique method that ensures you move forward with your passion! I am of the opinion that music is much more than the act of playing or composing, and that it is in fact a therapy. My lessons are calming, focused, thorough and introspective. I teach love for music and promote the importance of music in today's’ world.
