I got a Mandarin qualification certificate during undergraduate study. Before that I worked as a volunteer Chinese teacher for a year to help kids with their homework. I have been an online Mandarin tutor since March 2020, during this time I gained more experience. I am quite patient and easygoing. In 2022, I was the top 1% Chinese on italki platform. My teaching materials will base on students’ need (exam, hobby, work etc.) Besides, I will add appropriate exercises to help students consolidate what they have already learned. My teaching style is relaxed and humorous. Teaching content will be adjusted based on the students' level. Beginners will focus more on listening and speaking, like pronounce four tones properly. For higher-level students, it focuses on the better choice of expression and wording, and I will intersperse the explanation of Chinese culture. My lesson will contain not only the standard Chinese but also the current Internet terms and slang words to help students learn the most authentic Chinese.
