I would like to help you learn and improve your English at all levels, from beginner to advanced student, and at all ages (from 7 to 77 years old). I am English and I studied at the University of Cambridge. I have worked in France (Institut Pasteur, Sanofi) and in the USA (Stanford University). I can guide you in French if necessary. (Of course, we will do our best in English!).
Classes are tailored to each student. We cover grammar, vocabulary, reading, conversation, and discussion based on each student's progress and wishes.
I have been teaching English for about twenty years now, to primary school students, preparatory class students and adults, of whom I have helped more than 200 to progress in English and pass various exams (TOEIC, Linguaskill, BRIGHT, CLOE, etc.).
Classes are normally taught via webcam (Zoom), but for students in the Toulouse region, home tuition is an option. There is no fixed number of classes, but I recommend, if possible, around twenty one-hour classes. My classes have obtained Qualiopi certification, so you can finance them with a CPF (French Personal Account).

About Me

Born in England and graduated from Cambridge University, I came to France initially to work at the Pasteur Institute. Then, after a few years in California, at Stanford University, I continued and completed my research at Sanofi in Toulouse and thus acquired solid experience in the worlds of academia, medical research, and industry.

For the past fifteen years, I have been actively involved in teaching English in Toulouse: initially for students in preparatory classes (CPGE) at the Lycée Fermat, then for adult clients of Universal Languages and Rainbow Colorful Talents. Through my self-employed business LETS (Learning English Training Solutions), I also teach English to CPF students, an exercise for which I have obtained a QUALIOPI certification.

I was able to support more than 230 students in learning English (all levels from A1 to C1) and in preparing for exams (TOEIC, Linguaskill, CLOE, Bright).

Among my interests are sports (athletics, rowing, rugby, tennis, ...) and music (all kinds, but particularly classical choral music.). I have participated in numerous choirs which have allowed me to sing in places such as the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, the Berlin Philharmonic, Notre Dame de Paris or the Zenith in Toulouse (Concert "des Enfoirés" in 2017).
