English and German speaking music teacher with many years of experience from beginner to tertiary level. My youngest student was four years of age but I also enjoy teaching adults. With piano lessons, we do a combination of note reading, music theory, improvising and with horn lessons we work on breathing and other technical aspects of brass playing. I would be very happy to help to prepare horn students for Hochschule entrance exams as well. I believe that one of the most important aspects of being a teacher is developing my students’ confidence as well as developing their ability to step out of their comfort zone. Therefore my students have always been encouraged to sit for exams and perform in concerts, competitions and music festivals. It has been wonderful to see the success my students have gained through these events; however the best thing has been to see how their confidence has improved as a result.

Horn is a beautiful and versatile instrument. In order to learn the instrument properly, you need the right technique and a good ear for music. I have many years of experience with children and adults at all levels. I have been a lecturer at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin since 2021, as well as at the coordinated special school "Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach Gymnasium". I offer you here, a professional lesson for beginners and advanced. I studied at the Hanns Eisler Music Academy in Berlin with the world-renowned professor and soloist Prof. Marie-Luise Neunecker. I completed the concert exam with Prof. Sibylle Mahni Haas, who is currently teaching as the successor to Prof. Marie-Luise Neunecker at the Hanns Eisler Musikhochschule. I have been officially teaching at Bilkent University Ankara since 2009 as a lecturer. My previous students have successfully received study places at the Hanns Eisler Berlin and UDK Berlin, among others, as well as various orchestra positions. I have 20 years of orchestral experience as a permanent employee and have worked with the following orchestras: Bavarian State Orchestra Munich, Frankfurt Opera (Museum Orchestra), The German Chamber Philharmonic, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, Washington DC Opera and Bremen Philharmonic. At the moment I'm playing as a temporary assistant with the most sought-after orchestras in Berlin, such as the German Symphony Orchestra and the Konzerthausorchester.

Hello! I am a Spanish trumpet player residing in Cologne. I started playing the French horn when I was 6 years old and I studied my bachelor's degree in Madrid and my master's degree in Amsterdam. I offer lessons on modern and historical horn (baroque horn or natural horn). No matter what your level, age or expectations, I am a flexible teacher with experience teaching people of all ages, levels, musical preferences and backgrounds. Lessons will be adapted to the student's progress, circumstances and requirements. I like to play, sing and find the most creative solutions to learn quickly within a space reserved for the student's questions and imagination. As a musician I consider myself a very motivated person to always try new things. I also like to play from old music to contemporary music, so any style is welcome to try. During my Bachelor's training in Classical Horn I have trained in different educational skills techniques as well as in teaching ensembles and basic conducting. In addition to horn classes, I can also teach music theory and basic piano skills. I am very flexible with lesson times, so reaching a common point shouldn't be too difficult.
