I am studying Mathematics at the University of Cambridge (graduated my bachelor's degree with highest distinction in June 2023, I will start my master's in October 2023) and systematically obtained >90% in mathematics and physics.

My math teacher wrote about me in her recommendation letter for the University of Cambridge: “And very important as well, he is a good communicator and apt to share his knowledge. Whenever we do teamwork, a quiz or a game in the classroom, everyone wants to be in the same group as Zephyr. ”

I have 4 younger brothers who regularly ask me for help when they are stuck with their school work. By helping them with this I learned how to explain subject matter. In 2019 I started paying tutoring. In the meantime I have already tutored dozens of students, for secondary school material, and preparation for entrance exams for universities.

It is important for me to discuss with you, parents and student at the end of the first lesson whether what you expect will be feasible. This way I can be sure that you will be satisfied with the lessons.

In 2023, I've obtained a Master degree in Linguistics at the University of Amsterdam. I've achieved the C1+ levels in English, on the CEFR scale. I have 2 years of experience living in London, where I acquired RP (received pronunciation) and 7 years of experience in the International Academia (Amsterdam). My linguistic background gives me the capacity to explain the sounds and various processes of the language, from a perspective many natives do not know. In teaching, I practice the holistic approach. It is my belief that language is for people of every age and education, but I'm aware that everyone deserves a personal approach. As a tutor for GRE Quants, GMAT and SAT Quants, my class would focus on providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the mathematical concepts and problem-solving strategies necessary to excel on these exams.

The class would be divided into various sections, such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and data analysis. Each section would cover the relevant concepts, formulas, and problem-solving techniques. There would be lots of practice problems and quizzes provided to help students test their understanding and identify areas where they need further practice.

As an educator who completed the citizenship exams a long time ago, with my 12 years of foreign language teaching experience, I help you with language learning and exam preparation, while also guiding you by sharing tips for the exam.

While I plan my lessons in line with the needs of the student, I include listening, reading, speaking and writing skills in the lesson plan in accordance with the exam format. I also support you in the fifth step of the exam, KNM (Kennis Nederlandse Maatschappij - Dutch Social Knowledge).
