Hello! Since 2023, I have been continuing my Dutch lessons with pleasure with students who live or want to live in the Netherlands and want to prepare for the citizenship exam (Inburgeringsexamen).

As an educator who completed the citizenship exams a long time ago, with my 12 years of foreign language teaching experience, I help you with language learning and exam preparation, while also guiding you by sharing tips for the exam.

While I plan my lessons in line with the needs of the student, I include listening, reading, speaking and writing skills in the lesson plan in accordance with the exam format. I also support you in the fifth step of the exam, KNM (Kennis Nederlandse Maatschappij - Dutch Social Knowledge). You can request lessons that cover all parts of the exam or specific language skills (listening, reading, speaking and writing).

Being experienced as an English and Turkish instructor for 12 years, I have worked for a language school and universities and taught both teenagers and adults in groups or one-on-one. I use several methods which are specially conceived to teach Dutch to people who have a different mother tongue. I really like to use methods out of the ordinary like role games or methods with which you learn while playing. All these adapted to the student's situation of course. As I learned myself a couple of other languages, it is easy for me to detect difficulties a student can encounter and adapt the way of learning. I can teach in English, French, German and Russian.

I am a Belgian (Flemish) and French student with a Masters in International Public Law (Amsterdam) and a Masters in Global development (University of Copenhagen). 2021-2022:
I worked at "bijlesthuis," a Dutch tutoring institution, where I primarily taught French, Dutch, and English to adult learners seeking to improve their language skills. During the same period, I also provided classes to other students through Apprentus.

2021:
Through Apprentus and other websites, I assisted several younger students (ages 5-15) in Bern and Geneva, helping them improve their skills in subjects such as Maths and French.

2017-2020:
I worked for three years at a tutoring institution in Geneva called ARA, where I primarily taught French, Mathematics, and English.

During this time, I also spent two years working at a private school called Florimont, where I supported students aged 11-16 across various subjects by assisting them with their homework.

I can teach French, Dutch, and English, Spanish and in German, and I thoroughly enjoy teaching and assisting students in their progress and acquisition of new skills.
