Hi! I am Dafne, a Dutch-Italian harpist and educator with ten years of teaching experience across institutions, primary schools, and community projects throughout the Netherlands. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Conservatory of Amsterdam.

My lessons are personalized for each student, and I have experience teaching all ages and levels. I focus on building a solid technical and musical foundation, helping students with exam preparation, music theory, and posture, while also supporting those who want to explore creativity, self-expression, and enjoy a fun, relaxing experience with the harp.

Dafne – Harpist & Educator

I am Dafne, a Dutch-Italian harpist and educator with ten years of teaching experience across institutions, schools, and community projects throughout the Netherlands. I hold both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Conservatory of Amsterdam.

As a performer, I maintain an international career in contemporary music, with a focus on contemporary harp repertoire, ensemble work, and interdisciplinary music-theatre projects. My work bridges music, movement, and expression, bringing creativity and experimentation into both performance and teaching.

As an educator, I am dedicated to inclusive music education, supporting underserved communities and working with students with diverse learning styles and access needs. I create accessible and inspiring learning environments for students of all ages and levels.

Piano is the instrument used by the romantics to make their most beautiful music, but also by the most experimental and modern composers to create their craziest music wonders. Isn't it a great instrument to play?

With more than 5 years of experience teaching in music schools and 15 years as a private piano teacher, I developed an efficient and "fun-but-efficient" way to teach how to play the instrument. Every student is different, which means the way to play and learn shall be different, making every single lesson special and rewarding.

Lessons of music in all different ways through the brass instruments, mainly trumpet, with a teacher who gained his master degree in "Real Conservatorio Superior de música de Madrid" on classical music, and currently studying Jazz and modern music at "Conservatorium van Amsterdam" . Had collaborated with Jazz Concertgebouw Orchestra, Metropole Orkest, Bob Sands Big Band, Tina Turner the musical, and New Cool Collective between many more, and had lessons with teachers and artists such as Erik Veldkamp, Bob Sands, Bob Mintzer, Paul Ferguson, Enrique Rioja , Manuel Blanco, Gavor Tarkovi, and Alex Sipiagin, among many others.

Technique, sound, play in a group, phrasing different styles from classical music to jazz passing through latin flamenco or pop; basic harmony and composition, how to record from a home studio set up, mixing basics, everything you need to know nowadays to be an all-arround versatile musician.

I am studying Bachelor Pop Guitar at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I can help you in different matters, such as performance, ear training or music theory. All the aspects will be link together in order to learn effectively!

In my guitar lessons, we will develop your skills in the instrument to get a better and more personal tone, and feel more confident when improvising or playing in different styles. We will get there by learning songs, scales, chords, different techniques and putting all of them together.

I can also help you in songwriting, which I personally think that is a beautiful way to learn and apply the things we learn.

I’m Francisca, from Portugal, and I’m taking my bachelor in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I started my music lessons when I was still a baby, going to music for babies lessons! Later, when I was three years old I was very interested in playing the violin and at six years old decided to change to viola! Having the opportunity to share my passion for music with someone it is something very grateful for me!!

Music is Play! and everyone is it's own game.
Read, understand and make only the music you like. I think if it isn't fun, it can't be music:)

I studied a classical piano bachelor, and later a jazz master and a live electronics master. In the meantime, I have been teaching music. It's longer than 9 years now!
Most of my students learn piano. With the starter ones, I use my own system to equally help them grow all the needed skills: body consciousness (to avoid lesions or bad habits), music theory (including writing and reading) and improvisation.
Usually most songs are made of melody, chords and rhythm. From there, I can help you understand how a song works, how is it written, how does it translate to the piano... and voilá! You'll know the song by heart, and will be able to play it a bit different every time, because you won't be following a set of pre-imposed instructions. You will understand how a small system (a song) works.
This way of learning can be applied to any song, from any century or style. Understanding is key! Play Chopin, write rock songs, play Monk, Bill Evans, the Beatles, make a lo-fi beat, play Beethoven, play the Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter and Star Wars, play video game music, play salsa! bachata and make people dance, laugh or cry.
Music is very powerful!

PD: I have also experience imparting electronic music lessons in Ableton Live and Max MSP, which is now a very important part of my professional practice. In case you are interested, it is also possible to mix the two worlds and create a any kind of path between piano, synths, beats and home studio techniques.

Hello everyone, I'm Enrico and I come from Italy. Right now I am in Utrecht where I am doing a master's degree in cello under the guidance of Timora Rosler.
During my years of studies I always had the possibility to teach music, in fact while I was doing my Bachelor in Italy at the Conservatory of Turin, I taught cello and music theory in a private music school called "Isla de Musiqueros", in this school I had the opportunity to teach people of all ages, including children under 4 years old.
When I moved to the Netherlands little by little I started to find students and many many concerts.

I believe that playing is the best way to have fun and express your emotions, the work I want to do is work on tensions and try to help you melt away while playing, in this way you can have more sound and feel more free.
Technique is also very important in the everyday life of a musician, together we can see the best exercises for you, to help you improve and have more confidence with the instrument.

Music production is one thing that refers to a lot of different things as it's in a sort of middle ground between something purely musical as composition, instrumentation or arraging and the technical aspect, like mixing, mastering or using a daw.
In this classes we can focus on what you want to do or learn regarding those topics, or the ones that I think would help you best, putting an emphasis on how you can apply the information that you gain in your own way or imitating certain aspects of a specific genre, finishing songs, mixing them or just to loose the fear of making music and became more relaxed in a creative sense and have fun with it.
