¿Te hace ilusión tocar un instrumento pero no sabes cómo empezar?
No te preocupes, tengo más de 6 años de experiencia dando clases para todos los niveles, desde niños que están cogiendo por primera vez un instrumento hasta clases de refuerzo para alumnos de conservatorio que necesitan preparar audiciones o pruebas para orquestas. Al haberme formado en un conservatorio sé su método de trabajo y los requisitos que piden.
Incluso si tocaste un instrumento hace tiempo y por lo que fuese lo tuviste que dejar, te puedo ayudar a retomarlo.
Mis clases están 100% enfocadas en las necesidades del alumno.
Tengo el título de Superior de Violín, habiéndolo cursado en el Real Conservatorio Superior de Madrid (RCSMM), y terminé el Grado Profesional de Violín y Viola en el Conservatorio Profesional de Música de Alcalá de Henares, ambos con premio fin de grado.
Soy miembro con Violín y Viola de la Joven Orquesta Nacional de España (JONDE), la Joven Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid (JORCAM) y la Joven Orquesta de Aragón (JOA), además de ser el concertino de la Orquesta y Coro de Cámara Sonora (OCC Sonora).

Extra informatie

Si aun no tienes instrumento para la primera clase no hay problema, ya que dispongo de varios violines de todos los tamaños (1/4, 2/4, 3/4 y 4/4)
Así podrás disponer de un poco más de tiempo para escoger el instrumento que más se ajuste a tus ambiciones.
Recomiendo tener un cuaderno de pentagramas (el típico de música) para poder escribir las cosas de teoría que veamos.
Las clases pueden ser en mi domicilio, en el domicilio del estudiante (suplemento por desplazamiento respecto al precio que tendrían en mi dirección, aunque puede ser superior dependiendo de la lejanía del domicilio) y online por la plataforma que el estudiante desee.

My name is Carlos and I am a violinist / violist with 20 years of experience playing and more than 10 teaching at music academies, schools and as a private teacher (in-person and online).

I finished my Bachelor studies at the Royal Conservatoire of Music of Madrid (RCSMM) in Spain and I am currently enrolled on the last semester of the master’s degree in Germany.

While studying I had the great opportunity to take part in various educational projects, such as il Violinatti, which increased my interest in teaching.

A point to highlight is that being an active musician in orchestras and chamber groups helps me to become better, either when making music or when teaching it.

As mentioned above, I have been teaching since 2015, starting as a private teacher and then being hired in 2017 by schools and music academies, which was a great opportunity to continue growing and gaining experience.

During these years, I have been an official member of several orchestras. Among them:

- JONDE. Young Spanish National Orchestra, of which I have been an active member since 2019.

- JORCAM. Young Orchestra of the Autonomous Community of Madrid.

I've also played with many others as an assistant (Camerata Trossingen, Orquesta Iuventas, Ataulfo Argenta Orchestra, Villingen Philarmonic Orchestra, Orquesta Ciudad de Alcalá, etc.)

My expertise with orchestras has allowed me to play in the most important concert halls in Spain and even to play in Saint Petersburg (Russia), Istanbul (Turkey), Helsinki (Finland), and halls in southern Germany and Switzerland.

Hola, tengo una amplia experiencia con estudiantes de todas las edades como profesor de teoría musical, violín y viola. Clases personalizadas, enfocadas a los intereses de los estudiantes.
Estudié violín en el Conservatorio Superior de Música de Vigo en España y viola en España y en el Conservatorio de Utrechts. La investigación de mi examen final fue sobre el bienestar y la educación física para mejorar y acelerar el proceso de aprendizaje.

We gaan op de lessen samen oefenen en we gaan hier jouw allerliefste liedjes voor gebruiken. Ik geloof dat als je met een stuk muziek diepe emotionele contact hebt, wordt de leerproces ook sneller, gezelliger en vloeiender!

Onze belangrijkste thema's:

- techniek en overzicht van de bas (waar?)
- algemene muziekleer, gehoortraining (waarom?)
- creatieve improvisatie en compositie (wat?)

Ik ben afgestudeerd als leerkracht muzikale opvoeding en je kan bij mij terecht voor o.a. leren van notenleer, muziektheorie, en ritmische gitaarbegeleiding. Welcome to my piano teaching studio! I am a professional pianist offering private piano and theory lessons for students of all levels. As a pianist with over 14 years of teaching experience in Europe and the USA, as well as over 23 years of playing/performing, I enjoy motivating my students with music of their own preferred style and interest, whether that be classical or contemporary. My main goal is to promote a positive experience and love for music-making during the learning process. If the student is interested in a more structured approach, I guide preparation for grades 1-8 of the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) piano and music theory exams where my students consistently receive highest marks. I also have successful experience preparing students for conservatory entrance auditions, masterclasses, and competitions in the Europe, the USA, India, and Canada. We have class concerts at Pianos Maene for interested students twice per year. I am happy to provide either a more relaxed or a serious approach to learning piano, we simply need to discuss the personal goals and preferences of each student.

My own studies are as follows: I have obtained two postgraduate performance degrees at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp: "Concertsoloist" in Piano Performance and "Chamber Music” (under the guidance of esteemed professor Sergei Edelmann). Prior to this, I received my Bachelor and Masters degrees in Piano Performance/Music from the University of Minnesota - Minneapolis (with Prof. Lydia Artymiw) and Texas Christian University, Fort Worth (with Dr. Tamas Ungar). My experience includes collaboration with many different instrumentalists and singers, performing as a soloist and collaborative member in several orchestras, and receiving top prizes in several competitions. While maintaining my performance and recording career in Belgium at present, I am developing my private music studio in central Antwerp and look forward to meeting new students.

Hello and welcome to my music studio! It is absolutely fabulous that you are interested in music, and I hope you have lots and lots of fun with it! However, diving into the wonders of the piano/keyboard can be a bit overwhelming... and that is where I come in!
This course is for anyone from complete beginners to advanced students, from lessons that focus completely on classical music to lessons that include or focus on the basics of jazz/pop. If you like to sing, we can also work on the basics of jazz/pop vocal, so you can learn to accompany yourself at the piano.
In our lessons, technique will be an inherent part of the training, as well as analysis, basic music theory, and efficient ways of practicing music. If that all sounds good to you, then please reach out to me and we can start ASAP!
Lessons can be in English or Dutch.

So who am I?
In a nutshell, I am a professional pianist, vocalist, lyricist and blogger. Since 2014, I have taught in various music schools, teaching piano, ensemble, jazz vocal, and solfege.
On a more elaborate note, I obtained my Master of Arts in classical piano, summa cum laude, at the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) in 2017, and studied as a Fulbrighter at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington USA during the 2019-2020 academic year.
Every day, I strive to become a better musician and person, and I aim to transfer that passion to my students.

Ik geef al lange tijd privé muzieklessen en fortepiano. Naast mijn klassieke muziekopleiding in 2000, heb ik mijn bachelor in psychopedagogie in 2006 afgehaald. Dit jaar ben ik geïnteresseerd in het uitbreiden van mijn praktijk met meer leerlingen met speciale behoeften.
Ik heb geleerd over de verschillende manieren waarop muziek leerlingen met speciale behoeften kan helpen. Het helpt hen hun emoties te uiten en hun herinneringen en zelfregulerende vaardigheden te ontwikkelen.
Het kan hen sterke punten laten zien die ze anders misschien niet zouden vinden tijdens hun schooldag. Het kan ook hun ogen openen voor een hele wereld van expressie en schoonheid, waardoor hun leven wordt verrijkt.
Ik zoek uit wat voor een bepaalde student werkt, wat hen afleidt, wat hen motiveert, wat hen helpt zich te concentreren en soms gewoon te leren hoe ze zich tot hen kunnen verhouden.

Soy un pianista y compositor español (MMus se graduó en Codarts Rotterdam en ambas direcciones) con muchos años de experiencia docente y también muy activo interpretando en diversos contextos.

Doy clases particulares de piano para todos los niveles y estilos (clásico, jazz, latín, new age, pop...), así como clases de solfeo, composición e improvisación. Mis lecciones se distinguen por su dinámica, enfoque práctico y adaptación a las necesidades e intereses del alumno.

Hi there,

I’ve been playing guitar since I was 12 and was immediately hooked. Within a year I started playing in youth bands and projects, and during high school I moved to a music school where I began performing with bands and teaching guitar to kids as my first job. I later completed two bachelor’s degrees, the second in jazz guitar, at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Since then I’ve been working full time as a session guitarist, songwriter, and musical director with artists like Karsu, Alain Clark, Ruth Jacott, Jennie Lena, and many others, as well as releasing my own music as an independent artist under my stage name Jessy Hay. I’m extremely passionate about music theory, ear training, and music history, and I try to combine all of these with practical approaches to create a complete package for guitar enthusiasts.

Over the years I’ve developed many methods and seen hundreds of students grow from being stuck on the instrument to becoming full-on improvisers and composers across many genres. I love to combine the theory and improvisation I’ve learned from jazz, together with the groove and rhythm from funk and soul, the attitude from rock, and the production and songwriting skills from pop music. I’m also very interested in Middle Eastern music, for students who want to explore other scales, Maqams, and musical languages. Lessons usually start by discussing the student’s goals and current level, followed by exercises and pieces tailored to their needs. I also provide guidance on instrument setup, tone, and technique, to ensure a solid foundation. My aim is to give students a full 360° view of music: understanding the language, knowing what you’re doing, and developing your own ways of improving by becoming more familiar with both the instrument and the musical language itself.
