Hi! I’m Sheri, a friendly and patient tutor who focuses on helping students build confidence as well as skills. I believe everyone learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit each student’s pace, personality, and goals. Whether someone needs clear explanations, step-by-step guidance, or a calm space to ask questions without feeling judged, I make sure they feel supported from the very first lesson.

My background in Uniformed Protective Services and Criminology has given me strong communication, organisation and leadership skills, which I bring into my tutoring. I’m especially good at breaking down difficult topics into simple, practical ideas that students can understand and remember. I also enjoy working with younger learners, keeping lessons engaging through examples, real-life scenarios, and interactive activities.

As a tutor, I’m encouraging, understanding, and easy to talk to. I really care about helping students reach their potential and seeing them improve week by week. My lessons are structured but never stressful

Currently studying Level 3 UPS, developing strong academic, analytical and communication skills for tutoring, with experience supporting SEN and younger learners.

My method is ... LEARN BY MAKING YOUR MUSIC!

The student will learn techniques, stylistic elements, tricks ... already by working on his first tracks: to keep motivation and satisfaction high, the result is always visible!
The lessons are face-to-face and personalised according to the level of experience and the musical style of the student. The presentation of the information is clear and accompanied by practical examples.

I'll show you how to:
- use Ableton Live,
- program and control synthesizers and virtual instruments,
- use microphone and sound card to record your voice and your instruments,
- process sound with effects (plugins) and optimize it for diffusion (mixing and mastering),
- make your songs, from start to the last details.

I also speak Spanish, French, German and Italian.
