After years of private teaching during my two master's studies, I learnt how to deliver the information in a light and memorable way. The class won't be exhausting as your extra chance of learning, but will make you naturally try to understand and remember.

I have done two masters in engineering and worked as an engineer, so I am aware what are the easiest ways for students to understand and remember what they see in the class and how not to feel exhausting. A good class for me should let the students feel good even during heavy sessions. I will try different method for each student because I know there is always a best way for every single person to improve.

Opleiding

I have done one bachelor and two masters. In China, I finished my first degree which is electrical engineering in Beijing. Then I came to Europe and I have studied two masters in Electrical Engineering and Physics Engineering.

Learning Chinese from a non-native speaker definitely has its advantages. After all, I have learned it myself as a young adult and know exactly what the stumbling blocks and difficulties are.

After having lived in China for 14 years, first as a scholarship student and later working in the business world and the cultural sector, I still enjoy going back to China as often as possible.

In the meantime, I have more than 20 years of experience teaching at all ages and at all levels, and I have developed flexible methods to optimally teach both spoken and written Chinese. Experience with private lessons for toddlers, primary and secondary school children, professionals from different fields, as well as with all ages, motivations and levels in adult education in Kortrijk, Antwerp, Bruges and Ghent.

What my students most often give as feedback is that learning Chinese is really fun and fascinating, and that my enthusiasm and passion for this beautiful language and Chinese writing is very contagious.

Mijn jeugdigheid vormt geen belemmering maar nét een troef. Als student weet ik immers perfect hoe het is om achter de schoolbanken te zitten, om het gevoel te hebben dat alles wat de leerkracht zegt "chinees" is.
Tijdens mijn 5-jarige rechtenopleiding heb ik geleerd structuur te brengen in élke cursus, iets wat mij in mijn latere leven nog veel van pas zal komen én waarmee ik hopelijk ook jou, je zoon of dochter, kortom elke leerling/ student kan helpen.
